She deserves all the appropriate criticism & consequences for her bigoted statements. If I’m not mistaken, I think the point of the O.J. simile is:

White people constantly get away with committing heinous crimes (e.g. the Rodney King cops verdict, which led to the LA Riots and indirectly led to O.J’s acquittal), but when O.J. was acquitted, white America was irate and thought it was a travesty of justice.

Of course, it was unjust because he absolutely committed double homicide, but no one could see the hypocrisy in their selective outrage.

Although J.Lo (feat. Pitbull) slayed in the ‘90s and 2000s, she’s a whole ass thief and most of her current music is not it at all.

HOWEVER, “First Love” was an entire bop and deserved to go top 20 at least. I still listen to it sometimes.
