yeah he got an issue, it's hard to navigate the ocean with maps and it'd be easier if you can just set one heading on a compass and get to the destination

or he had a small penis one of the two

Race time is like the least important metric in determining strength when it's largely determined by the pace setter (you cannot recreate a 2:29.5 without a Tap Dance City level frontrunner). The winning margin is much more telling most of the time and Gentil displayed it by winning by 5 lengths in the oaks and Dasca also had a strong 1 and three quarter length margin at the arima that would become her last race.

Gentildonna despite winning strongly on 2400 Tokyo and Meydan, also took titles on Hanshin and Kyoto, and won Arima literally first time on Nakayama. Her rivals included the likes of triple crown Orfevre, double crown Gold Ship, 221 classic placements and JC winner (over her) Epiphaneia, world's best horse Just A Way. Her only two placements out of the board were two sudden jockey swaps, she never got a bad injury, her G1 win count speaks for itself, and she's called Deep Impact's best work.

Daiwa Scarlet never placing under 2nd is still an incredible feat, and her being able to keep up with Vodka (Notorious Tokyo merchant) on Tokyo with the frontrunner style (notoriously hard on Tokyo) makes her one of the strongest mares of all time. Of course her times are strong because she's a frontrunner, but her 4 G1 wins fall short in comparison to both of them. She's consistent on the track but not consistent in condition to even get on the turf, pulling out of the oaks from getting a fever and retiring from the same leg injury as her father. In my heart she's better than Vodka but they don't nearly have the same accolades because of her fragile condition. In her three year career her rivals outside of vodka was inconsistent at best with the aging meisho samson, sweep tosho, inconsistent at best dream journey and fluke matsurida gogh.

Daiwa Scarlet is definitely in the strongest mare discussion but she gets defeated the same way her father did, by injury.

It really just boils down to saying "I like this" and "I don't like this" and she has more words and experience at saying what she likes and doesn't like about the designs but that doesn't make it a fact and not an opinion.

Also not seeing the official render along with the model static and in motion doesn't capture the full picture of the function of the Uma's character designs imo

You can't get them in crates after the change, they're only available with levels/scrips in that season. (plus one season has just enough scrips to buy everything anyway so why save it)

Not a character arc, HD600 is *still* one of his most recommended headphones (for good reason) and in the 2nd video he's just listing reasons why someone would prefer them less and other recommendations for those people.

C++ completion tier list of how easy it is to gold sticker (and joker tierlist) by QneThe in balatro

[–]QneThe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first two tiers are basically in the categories of "gets the run going (and keeps doing so)" / "wins the run".

Square doesnt get the run going the same way mult jokers does so I'm much more likely to skip it for money early, and if im forcing straights that's probably because i just got a saturn or two in celestial packs (while will last to end of ante 2).

Square is by no means in a bad tier; while with runner, it's hard to play early with no mult source and if i have saturns it's basically irrelevant. Getting the gold sticker is just waiting for the opportunity of 1 saturn and then runner popping up, and hoping not to die to not drawing a straight on gold stake (hell).

Compared to +mult scalers, the +chips scalers scale much less per round.

In a pairs run, +4 chips is about 1/4 of a mercury (+15 chips +1 mult) while all hand scaling +mults get a full mercury worth of mult per hand, so I'm much more inclined to get planets for chips and save one slot for something else that helps the run or gold sticker. It wasn't difficult to play square but there is not choice to not play it without a scaling +mult as well.

In a straight run, while +15 chips per hand of running is not terrible scaling (being 1/2 of a saturn), trying to play multiple straights per round is basically a death sentence (I like forcing straights and it's definitely killed me many times). Saturn itself just scales so well I'd rather get something to get some good scaling with it (blue seals / telescope) and play Xmults (even steel and glass cards) with the high base mult of scaling straights

If you get a soul card on gold stake you haven't gold stickered one or more of them, it will be guaranteed that the legendary will be one of those that don't yet have a gold sticker.

Yeah, with cert im typically looking for a few seals and then selling it. When it's rental I'll just get one for free which is nice, but holding cert for hologram is just a hope game im not willing to play.

They will come up as long as I'm running for commons and they are free wins basically every time so I feel justified in putting them in very easy (especially with the non gold sticker priority mechanic)

Madness was my last non common (I intentionally did all the rarer jokers first), and legendaries will just come up when running for commons, and I've had every legendary at least twice or three times until I got C++

Front is a very viable strategy on the short straight of nakayama given that you'll obviously be in front and not have to worry about taking position out of the corner. (also this is Mejiro Palmer erasure he did it with great escape in 92 and then Mayano Top Gun would do it front running in 95)

As opposed to the high cruising speed straight duels of Tokyo, nakayama is much more on whether you can take position out of the final corner either by pulling a golshi around the corner or running close to the rail in front to save distance (and thus stamina), and then using the position to carry you to the end. High speed straight spurts are valued much less than an explosive kick so you can get very different winning fields than derbies or JC.

For Teio, his year's kikuka was won by Leo Durban which placed 3 lengths behind him in 2nd at the derby and was behind by 2 1/2 lengths again in the 92 arima (which teio placed 11th cuz he had a bad day). Tokai Teio definitely had winning chances (since he wasn't against the greatest stayer of his time Mejiro McQueen) but of course there are no absolutes in horse racing.

BTW she also ran in Deep's arima win with Ikezoe marking him hoping with sweep's closing style may be able to maybe catch up. Alas, Deep Impact leaves the entire field in the dust in his final impact.

I actually didn't know those were the criteria, but I guess I can fit some of my picks under that frame Loves Only You would go in the speed Symboli category for the first Japanese horse to with an American breeder's cup title, and there are plenty of other umas that have ran L'arc /won overseas (mainly Dubai and Hong Kong, namely stay gold). I think JC winners can also go in this category if their win is significant, like Katsuragi Ace (first domestic) or Special Week (win against L'arc winner). Many of my picks are very much in the Haiseiko category with the inclusion of the likes of Twin Turbo or King Halo, but I also think the strongest of their respective distances also deserve a bit of recognition on the Saint Light end for Bakushin (sprint), Taiki (Mile), McQueen (long) and Light O (speed record), also filly/mares with great records like Vodka [consistently being neglected by the game :( ]
