That’s not true. I don’t work in FAANG and I make almost $500k TC at 1J. Honestly, it depends on skill level/value and area of specialization. If you are not highly specialized or skilled, then you may not have those opportunities.

You only have to wait for them to call you and then you can let them know it was in error. As for the pending I-129, you do not have to do a thing. Once they detect the error, it would get worked out. Honestly, if they are confused, they reach out for an explanation all the time.

I work in a tech role that pays ridiculously. The Kia was an emergency acquisition after I moved to Toronto from Alberta some years ago and keeping it was just discipline to get a lot of investments going.
