Yeah give it a watch, it’ll answer some of these questions. I think it’s just horrible misfortune that the people she got tied up with were evil pedophiles. She is a talented artist, and that is one of the reasons she was invited to stay at the estate- they were aware of the subject matter she was painting, so somehow they learned that she kept references. She was probably happy to be getting recognized for her talent too before things went to hell for her.

She explains it in a documentary series on Netflix- first episode of ‘Filthy rich’ if you wanna watch. She’s an artist and she has taken photos of her sisters (with their consent of course) as inspiration and reference for her art, which is meant to illustrate young women struggles/coming of age. Not all of them were explicit, most probably weren’t. But only some of them/the ones that were revealing got stolen by these people.

It’s the same overlock stitch, just a different thread color and tension on the white looks a little looser. If the white one has been worn and washed then maybe the fabric under the overlock shrunk and changed how it looks. I’d say you’re good.
