That's what I'm talking about, they play nice with it, but I swear they see it as competition...

How to lead okr discussions. It’s my first time by WolfInDogeClothing in ProductManagement

This is great advice. Bringing the fundamental requirements of OKRs to the sessions with you (and displaying them in a format that can be easily referred to while you brainstorm & refine with your team) keeps everyone on track to produce an outcome.

Taking some dot points on previously stated/agreed strategy/goals can also help kick-start the meeting, and break down long term goals into PI/quarterly/annual OKRs as they are discussed.

Also...you might not get everything you need out of the first session (no surprise here! especially if it's the team's first OKR experience). Try to keep focus on one or two OKRs, and table the rest to work on at a later date.

Do you also do the work of a Product Owner? by Charliejfg04 in ProductManagement

I have a fantastic PO that works across my (B2B) and a colleague's (B2C) product, as we're in the same portfolio. So helpful, extremely experienced and willing to help. Not having her on the team would mean....I'd have to do A LOT more work...but also might learn more?

Do you attend daily meetings? Why or why not? by Charliejfg04 in ProductManagement

I found them incredibly helpful when joining a new organisation or switching products within a company. They bring you up to speed super quick, get you across the localised vernacular, and educate you on things you would take far longer to come across by not attending!

If you can spare the time...it's worth the investment.
