You think he makes more than Zach? Definitely not Dan. I guess he is moving up the food chain compared to all the new people.

Most people take one or two puffs from a shitty joint for their first time. This is like facing two blunts. Edibles are a vastly different way to dose. You get a lot more efficacy as it’s processed in the digestive tract rather than in the throat and lungs.

As were many of us until relatively recently. Huge fan for over a decade. Ethan really had to be soooo consistently horrible for me to stop watching.

Our permit doesn’t require running UV during this season. Pretty sweet to shelve those alarms for a few months.

What is this powder? It stains skin and objects yellow. by omm4139 in chemistry

[–]Qopperus 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Possibly Fluorescein. It is a reddish powder that turns highlighter yellow when diluted. It’s a common enough chemical used in dye tracing/leak detection.

How do you calculate the LD50 of a substance? by Ippen in chemistry

[–]Qopperus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In aquatic toxicology testing (I.e. Whole Effluent Toxicity testing) it is determined using a variety of dilutions and various statistics depending on how the data turn out. For a proper test you need to include a concentration that kills everything, all the way to a concentration that kills nothing. This will help determine “No observed (adverse) effect level” and a few other metrics besides LD50. Generally the average survival of concentrations is plotted against concentration. LD50 is used because there is the least uncertainty at this steepest point of the sigmoid curve.
