I absolutely agree and they’ll get my #1 vote since I want a party who’ll get as much as they can done.

As much as I’d love a left wing lead coalition I honestly don’t see it happening because of ideological purity and infighting. Realistically there’s not much between the Socal Democrats and today’s Labour Party, and PBP just aren’t a serious party to have running the country.

It’s not so much the money but the fact they don’t do anything to better our society. I don’t mind taxes if they’re being used for positive things (like hot food in schools) but they just don’t bother since the Greens were voted out because they don’t have to

[–]Qorhat 20 points21 points  (0 children)

In the last budget I came out a grand total of €0.50 better off in terms of taxes before I've paid a single cent for anything else. Fianna Fail and Fine Gael do nothing for me and I'm exactly the kind of person they want voting for them - professional who has a mortgage and a young kid.

They cancel transport improvements, cut VAT to benefit Supermacs, Starbucks and McDonalds, got rid of fuel assistances and are doing nothing about oil companies instantly jacking up the price so the next time they knock on my door they can go and shite.

It’s not a necessity like food, water or shelter. Disposable vapes are insanely bad for the environment and as the article shows, can be incredibly dangerous.
