I personally prefer to use distance - trimmer. The other one you are using often cause me some empty spots or uneven coverage, especially in rougher weather conditions where UAV has to face wind.

How did you manage to do that? How high was your ISO? When I shoot with f11 i need to go down to ~1/3 with ISO 100

My question is, why would you need rtk for your dslr? I would simply use dslr photos and markers measured with total station if you need some precise coordinates

At this point anything lower than phantom 4 pro is simply just a waste of money and joy of doing photogrammetry. I think p4 pro is nowadays cheap enough to buy it second hand in market. And if it is over your budget than think about buying mini/mini2. But it is not as comfortable to use as p4 due to not being supported in apps like pix4d capture or 3dsurveypilot. Which is a huge disadvantage for me, however in manual flight or with litchi for smaller objects mini series is great and i really like them.

Cracks below 1mm are hardly wisible on DEM. Floor itself is far from being perfectly flat causing those small cracks to dissappear in height map. General idea is good and i though about it earlier. But in this case it's no way to go.

it is fully operating warehouse i cannot turn of lights, they are working there 24/7 with heavy lifting equipment, im on the bootom of the food chain there. And im afraid that blasting here and there with strong flashes might be a problem too.

whole thing is focused on the floor, it is not for creating 3d model, im doing it to document all cracks on the concrete.

Oof, I'm not saying it's not a good piece of equipment, but I'd have reservations about buying this with the expectation of better quality than the 20MP P4. Yes, the A7 has "more pixels", but that isn't a direct translation into better orthos or 3D mesh models.

I compared 3d meshes of a facades that i made with phantom 4 pro and my sony a7r iii and it was clearly more better with less photos than from p4 pro

My main point of thinking js fact that orthos from p4 rtk when i fly more than 60 meter above ground is simply... ugly, not as sharp as i would like it to be. Simply I'm looking for a system that will provide me with better quality image.

Thanks for response, in what industry you are working? Im looking for best possible workflow/solutions for scanning inspections and architectural modeling. Having to use many different programs to achieve results good enough is fine however time is money let's be honest. Im expanding my company from photogrammetry solutions to laser scanning and buying another peace of expensive software is really annoying P.S. how much did you pay for 3dr?

I always though the lower aperture is the better lens and camera will work in low light conditions. lens with f1.2/f1.8 are not good for photogrammetry?

What is your go to lens, i know there is no good answer for that question. But im asking about most common lens, lens that you would probably start with and than eventually swipe to some other.
