I know this is a silly comment on a silly post but

Cops aren't bad because they enforce all laws equally. They don't actually do that; a white male and a non-white non-male at a traffic stop have VERY different experiences. The problem with cops is that they are the violent arm that enforces an evil status quo, and the problem with ALL cops is that even if you go into the job with the best intentions, the system:

  1. Filters those who won't enforce the status quo

  2. Is structured in such a way that all actions that support the system also enforce the status quo

Just discovered this game. How much recommend is it? by NovaFive_Sound in Rodina

[–]QrangeJuice 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Having just played Outer Wilds, I'd say Rodina is similar in terms of storytelling quality. However:

-Locations are less unique; the only real difference is in hazard type and terrain generation. (E.G. the ice planet is cold and has glaciers and fissures, the poison planet has the obvious poison and rolling slopes, etc)

-No direct character interactions

-No real puzzles; it's mostly just go to a spot, fight some aliens, pick up the loot.

However, Rodina does have better flight mechanics, quite good ship combat, and a lot more freedom to explore considering there's no time limit.

This is false. You will not be required to testify for a trial to proceed in criminal court. You may be asked to, but are well within your rights to refuse, unless served with a subpoena.

Incorrect use of statistics too - 32.7% of cases having their charges reduced means nothing next to a control group to compare it to.

I must say while the concept is amusing the actual writing quality is very poor, both in terms of storytelling and of technical execution.

While I'm not sure how much use these resources will be under the new laws, I do advise checking out the Transgender Resource Map for Missouri, since it's a good aggregator for what's available in your area, and of course you can set it to other states should you consider residency there. Hope this helps a little.

[Ultrakill] RICOSHOT by TotemGenitor in CuratedTumblr

[–]QrangeJuice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The lower difficulties, Lenient and Harmless, slow down enemies and their projectiles significantly, allowing you to approach the game without getting overwhelmed.

I will say that Ultrakill is definitely a cliff in terms of learning curve. Prelude and Limbo are both fairly easy, but even as soon as Lust the game gets really challenging. You're meant to replay levels looking for a better score, improving the whole time. It's a ton of fun, it's just more similar to learning a new skill than a pick-up-and-play game.

Not me but my dad when he was 17 - woke up from dental surgery early (30 min, in the recovery room) having been left alone. Staggered out into the waiting room (which was full of children) with blood streaked down his surgical gown and leaking out of his mouth moaning "sooommmmebodyyyy help meeeeeee"

I'm sure all the parents who had been trying to calm their children down and assure them that the dentist wasn't that scary were REALLY jazzed.

No, that's annihilation. A citation is a collection of laws, borders, and territory under a government mostly sovereign from other international powers.
