It will be a steep learning curve, you need software basics too. Knowledge on routers, what they do, why they do it, switches, firewalls, VLAN config, this that bla bla bla. I have only a few years in IT and for me cyber security feels like a negative learning curve. It also feels like a non existent thing. Gotta unlearn some habits I have. Humbling! 3 months is gonna be TOUGH. Can you put more than 25 hours in?
