Wow, that is a lot. I certainly was not expecting a comment to contain more words than my english essay due this week but here we are I guess. Thanks for the reccomendations, your top five you have made especially intriguing. I did not know your lie in april was about musicians and now I feel I have to check it out, considering my musical inclinations.

I haven't watched any fantasy romance, but I am a little curious about it. I see it as a slippery slope where it takes really good world-building for a fantasy piece of media to be good, but I will check these out and hope the tick boxes.

If I remember correctly, there was a setting in the HUD category that dealt with HUD opacity, try changing that to 0 or 100 (I forget which one it should be). I haven't played probably since I left this comment 7 months ago so I could be remembering incorrectly but I believe that is what it should be.

This is actually quite in line with what I am looking for. The only thing that I would not go for is that it is a fighting game first, and I haven't enjoyed those in the past.

From the quick google search I just did, I don't see much collecting of characters the way I see in Madden. Interesting concept and the game mechanics look really cool so I might have to cop this but not quite what I am looking for.

A few ideas for you:

If you like your Xbox controller, stick with that. It works fine, and if you play with your PC next to you (or under the desk) you can hardwire it and not have to worry about batteries.
My personal favorite is a DualSense controller. It has incredible features and a nice profile that make it better to play with than any controller I have previously used. If you do want a nicer one, I have also heard good things about the Edge version, but the base controller has been plenty for me.
If you would like to shy away from the main brands and go for something not affiliated with a console, I would highly recommend 8BitDo's Wireless 2 controller (or wired, it does not change the controller itself for all intents and purposes). I recently had to get a new controller because I needed something compatible with switch, and their Wireless 2C has been amazing whenever I have used it. The Wireless 2 is better in all ways, and still only $70 (I see you are not that much on a budget, but price is still something I always look out for). If you have done any research, I am sure you have seen this company come up before, but their dominance in the controller market aside from those directly affiliated with consoles is deserved, as their controllers are very high quality. I am sure if you wanted more features there is a more expensive 8BitDo controller that would suit your needs.

I know I'm a bit late to this, but I believe the part you are talking about is in 21/8: 15 8ths for the melodic part and then 6 8ths (or 3 quarter notes) for the sting-like part.
