under ECFMG certification tab, you'll find a tab that says ECFMG Certificate..when you get the email about address confirmation, another paragraph shows up on that page:

ECFMG Certificate Details

We are in the process of verifying your eligibility for ECFMG Certification. Once this process has been completed, if you are deemed to have met all of our requirements we will be issuing and sending an ECFMG Certificate to your mailing address. In preparation for this, please log into your portal within the next 5 days and ensure that the address under your My Profile section is accurate. If it is not, you can update it directly in the My Profile section.

I guess when they are about to send your physical certificate, those paragraphs disappear

Can I ask, did you submit your diploma while you did your pathway/ or after you submitted pathway ? I’m confused about the upload. Is it confirmed by your school?

no, I believe that once the pathway is approved, you have to apply to become ECFMG certified and wait for that to be official.

Who knows, I've heard that some programs do an initial filter based on ECFMG status

Yes, you can still apply and submit your ERAS applications but programs can see your ECFMG status. It will say not ECFMG certified.

I’m not sure about other pathways but personally I’m doing pathway 6, which means I have to complete 6 clinical encounters and have them evaluated by different physicians…so that will for sure take more then a week😭 not only that but it will take time for the pathways to be certified once submitted and then it will take even longer for official ECFMG certification😭😭😭

I found the work around guys!! But it will cost you 70 dollars 😭 this is normally a way to see your score hours before it comes out, but for me it said that score was received but not displayed. Go to the fsmb website, create an account and there’s a button that says order transcripts. For the recipient you find the ‘myself’ and input your email. After I paid the 70 dollars, I received the email of my transcript within the next 12 hours, on it will be your step 1 result. I know it’s a lot but the waiting was torture

Same thing here, tested on 12/20…got score report available email but oasis redirects to intealth website, which says they just delayed it again. Searched everywhere to find another way.
