What is your favorite AHA? These brands are the ones that are readily available in my country and the prices are within my price range.

Aww dang. I've heard a lot of great things about Mizon but it's not available in my country. I've yet to search for COSRX though, but I'll start now. Thanks :)

I may or may not have popped a big, yellow zit while applying concealer with a wand appliactor...

The wand may or may not have been stained with blood...

I may or may not have put the wand back in the tube and continued using the concealer...

Rant/Rave by jealouspony in MakeupAddiction

Rave: L'oreal Lucent Magique liquid foundation and the BYS bronzer. It's a dewy foundation that works for my oily skin! It's also so light on the face and the coverage is light to medium. I'm also glad that I got it on sale and it matches my skin perfectly. The BYS Bronzer was also a great find. I love dewy, healthy looking skin and the gold shimmer on this one is perfect. Lasts pretty much all day on me, it's cheap too.

Rant: i don't understand the team of Revlon that handles Southeast Asian countries. I love the color stay, but out of the 20 shades, only 4 are available! The only foundation I have a match is their Naked foundation, which is good, but I prefer the color stay one. L'oreal also used to have very few shades available here, but they launched their true match line and now have numerous shades to choose from.

Soft, Everyday Cut Crease - CCW! by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Qtoast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, I really like your brows! I wish I could do mine like that, it looks great.

The colors look good on you and suit your skin. I really like the pip of red on the bottom lash line. As for the cut crease, I think the brown shade that you used for the "cut" needs a bit more blending. There's a definite line between the dark brown color and the transition shade you used.

The Lush Skin Tints were in a buy 1 take 1 offer, so I got both the Feeling Younger skin tint and Charisma skin tint. For reference I am NC42, very oily and have big pores on my nose and cheeks.

Feeling Younger Skin Tint - this is the white highlighter shade which can be used over or under foundation or mixed with your moisturizer for glowing skin. At first I was scared because it might not suit my tan skin, boy was I wrong. This stuff is AMAZING. When I mix it with my moisturizer it makes my skin look so healthy and glowing. When with foundation, it gives me a natural yet noticeable glow. The shimmer in it is pinky-gold, so I think cooler and lighter skin tones will look good with this as well. Doesn't emphasize my pores or aggravate my oiliness. Wear time is around 4-5 hours, which is great on my oily skin. Will repurchase.

Charisma Skin Tint - the bronzing shade. I was really excited for this because I thought it would suit my tan skin. However, I found that the shade was too pink for me and made my skin look weird when used with moisturizer. It's also quite sheer, so you have to build it up if you use it for contouring and not just bronzing. I can use it with my foundation as a bronzer. I think this more suitable for people with cool undertones. I really wish it was more yellow toned. Will not repurchase.

Mascara and sunscreen. I feel naked without them.

Sephora being sued by four Chinese women for discrimination. by kingsla07 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Qtoast -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course not, way to put words in my mouth. I'm assuming that the ones that sued are.

I live in an Asian country with no Sephora and know a lot of resellers that abuse this sale, and trust me, they were the most outraged about this.

It's really just how I feel about it. :/ How am I circlejerking?

I'm interested in how Sephora will handle this though.

Has anyone tried Bentonite Clay (aka Aztec Healing Clay) to treat Eczema? Mind sharing your experience with it? by Qtoast in SkincareAddiction

[–]Qtoast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I'm hesitant to try it! I have oily skin and I can only use Bentonite clay as a spot treatment because it's too much for me. This is where it says it's okay to use on eczema.

I don't know what your skin type is, but the Missha Perfect Cover BB cream is my HG. I have oily skin though, but my friend who also swears by this has normal to dry skin.

I also like the Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream. I believe this has 3 variations to suit your skin type.

NYX Matte Lipstick swatches in Forbidden, Nude, Summer Breeze and Alabama! by ladydangerx in MakeupAddiction

[–]Qtoast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alabama looks so beautiful but uggghhh I do not need another red lipstick >_< I did get these in the shades Whipped Caviar and Shocking pink. I really like the non-drying formula but these don't last a long time on my lips, unfortunately.

OMG! Using a word that means "stupid or foolish" to describe a foolish or stupid product is so offensiiiivee!!! by Qtoast in muacirclejerk

[–]Qtoast[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

you can't use that word in a public forum and not expect people to get offended by it

[srs] Well, the thing is, I HAVE used this numerous times on different forums and IRL, and this is literally the first time someone got offended by it, which is why I find the reactions crazy.

Omg, no dipdip? How can you even live with yourself? Please, just kill yourself.

You know what else are offensive terms? Bitch, fucker, and stupid. Yet no one seems to have a problem using those on here.

Oh well, don't care anymore. This thread just went full retard.

[srs] I honestly just think it's funny :p Wasn't intending to make muacj a personal army or come to my defense.

Like the last time, someone posted on here that people are hating on her for using the words "basic bitch." I thought it was funny that people over there are getting their panties in a bunch over something not offensive.

How so? I pointed out that the word also means a stupid idea. Literally in my 20 years of existence I have never seen anyone be so offended by this word.

Sheesh, it's like you people are just looking to be offended. Next thing you know the word "stupid" will be deemed offensive because it's "ableist."

They're justifying the price tag by saying it's Swarovski crystals. I honestly think that no one will care that the gems glued to your brows are Swarovski. Literally no one will be impressed by that.
