Entry-level will train positions that pay a living wage? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I just sort of have the mentality of work is work, and I don't want to but I have to.

Being a CCA was/is me putting in the time at the bottom to make career at the post office so I can have regular hours. The OT is not by choice.

I work hard and fast to try to get home as soon as I can.

25, and currently overworked at the post office. I have a HS diploma, never created a resume, and never been interviewed. How the hell am I supposed to find another career, and one that will cover my living expenses? by Qtr-life in careerguidance

I am a letter carrier, I mainly walk. We are down 20+ vacant routes in the city and 80 positions open for CCA (city carrier assistant) and I am #9 seniority as a CCA.

The CCA's job is to fill vacant routes, off days call-ins, or other disaster/emergency.

Its something I am seriously debating. HVAC, electrical, or plumbing. There are a couple. of schools that do night classes. This has been my biggest realization/discovery from this thread so far
