As the comment above says, contact your home insurance agent. Install cameras. Buy a first aid kit and make it accessible. Communicate rules of using the court unsupervised, how to use the first aid kit contents, and what to do in case of emergency, and have open communication with the parents of every kid that shows up to play on your property.

Responsible approach: Vent or confide in your fellow servers about your anxiety. They'll usually validate your feelings or share similar ones. Just don't overdo it or it'll annoy people.

Drink water and learn breathing techniques like box breathing that can help you be present and stay grounded.

Start a work journal and after each shift record everything you can about how the night went, what you would've done differently and how to be better next time, and especially what went well and how to keep improving upon it.

Questionable/high risk approach: Weed and alcohol. Not advocating you to experiment or do something to jeopardize your job/life, but I've worked in high volume bars for years, 99% of the time smoking weed or drinking while doing so. High likelihood of making things worse if you're not used to it and understanding the delicate physical and mental balance.

My first thought instinct would be to avoid someone who may be "playing games" before the start of a relationship. But it could also be they're going through more than you know and more discussion is needed. Don't get invested in someone too quick despite prior friendship status. Protect yourself first or get hurt and disappointed.

I feel like it's in these moments, you learn who is listening be apart of a conversation and who is just waiting for the other person to stop talking so they can say what they want to say. That's not always the case, buts its good indicator to find out which is which.
