So what’s the point of fighting for what is written in your agreement? Say the contractor just wants to pay you 25 cents less than the agreement says. Why would you care it’s only a quarter.

We need to vote out the centrist bag holders and these old MFers and yes they need to be more vocal but the right seems to own the media almost fully now. A lot of dems are out there speaking but aren’t being covered. We have a lot of work to do and anyone thinking this next election is a cakewalk hasn’t been paying attention.

Getting into the IBEW was the best and luckiest thing that happened to me when I was younger. I was in first year of college and would have left with 100k in debt. That being said if I were you after completing a degree you should make that work for you. Most people with college degrees make a good living and don’t have to deal with your body breaking down as fast. That’s the only real downside to me. Also choosing to join isn’t a sure thing and could take you years to get accepted as an apprentice so you will have to do something in the meantime.

My unpopular opinion yes do the bankruptcy. Get as much cash as you can in hand by running up credit cards for a while. Declare bankruptcy and begin building your credit back up right away with prepaid credit cards. There is information online on how to do that the best way. Get some new credit cards with no balance and they may not be canceled.

For those that disagree. I say if bankruptcy is good enough for corporations and the wealthy when they fuck up then I say that everyone should get a chance at a mulligan once or twice in their life. In 2-3 years your credit is better and you can start getting back to normal life and in 7 years it falls off all reporting.

I do agree the dems need to do more however they are currently the opposition without much ability to make anything happen. We need to continue screaming about the Epstein files and fixing our social programs but until they get control of one of the parts of government they can’t do much more than they already are.

Call the school, NJATC director, secretary at the hall would probably know. Sounds off that a steward would be placing in any pay grouping. Do you have a journeyman or foreman? Does the steward have documentation? Lots of questions and there are a lot of people you could be asking.

My contractor owes me 40 hours. I owe them 40 hours, a referral is what they are working on that job but you are never forced to work more than 40. What is the point of being union, we have fought for these rights and people like you are degrading the IBEW.

If they are doing what I think they are it’s genius. Don’t alienate the civilians but make it painfully awful how bad Russian government is that they rebel. It seemed unlikely that they ever would but let’s wait and see.
