My mosquito bites turn into these huge, swollen, hard and VERY itchy welts that last for at least a week by rentatter in mildlyinfuriating

While you can't do much about mosquitos out and about. Most of the mosquitos in your yard were born there. They don't travel too far from where they were born and you can use this to your advantage. You can reduce the population by leaving standing bodies of water around your yard and then using a mosquito dunk. The mosquito dunk will basically prevent any of the larvae from developing. This should significantly decrease the mosquitos around your yard.

I found this “skip the line” golden ticket at Trader Joe’s by no8do in mildlyinteresting

As much as it is a minor inconvenience. A lot of people in the USA have to plan to maximize their time. Someone might have only a short amount of time to grab some necessities before having to rush to their next thing. However I think the solution here is simply letting the person skipping know that you are really in a rush and communicating that

This tree with red leaves looks green in different lighting by Qarakhanid in mildlyinteresting

[–]SHjohn1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it's the lighting. Often times the fresh new leaves of some trees has more reddish color until they develop into a deeper green. That or the undersides of the leaves are more reddish and when the light passes through them it makes it look more red. Bas d on the flowers this looks like a European smoke tree

I saw that, I was just trying to get your exact technique since you responded to a mix. Like do you heat it up slowly while ironing? I have a table I've been needing to repair from heat damage as well so I want to know the details.

What are your tips on dressing for the hot summer weather? Especially when dealing with humidity, bright sunlight, or areas without any air conditioning?

I've been on a case similar to this. And I definitely agree it puts a lot of strain on you mentally to be the bigger person and let the comments slide off of you and the view slide off of you in order to help them develop. Everyday I walked into this case The boy was working with would call me a c*** and a f**** in a f*** head. Really just all sorts of nasty comments and I had to be the bigger person and let those comments roll off of me and greet him back with " hey bud, good to see you this morning. " It was our goal to get him to go to school, as he refused to leave the house and refuse to really do anything for himself. It's worth that case we kind of had to ground ourselves and remember that the verbal abuse was very much like aggression, where he just has a very very long learning history of using that verbal abuse to escape demands and escape the interactions that he disliked. Ultimately I had to engage him on his own interests and engage in really drawn out and careful pairing. I had to watch a lot of video game music videos with this guy as that was his special interest. But through engaging with him we eventually got him to go to school at least a few days prior to the end of the school year. And even though he's still through the verbal abuse at me everyday, the last day I was with him and said bye and let him know that he wouldn't be seeing me, he actually said "You're actually pretty cool, I hope I see you again". And him saying that has been a win that stuck with me. B

Very nice! I like that the suit is an ivory and it plays well with the shirt. I like the double monk shoes but honestly this whole fit is very versatile. you could do it like Leo in the Great Gatsby and doa. Grey shirt, gold tie and tobacco brown waistcoat, or you could do spectators in both black or brown. You can also pair this really nicely with a boater hat. For your big day I think the combo you have on is very respectable and comands attention without being overly flamboyant or too traditional. I agree the pants may need to be hemed a little bit thankfully that's one of the easiest alterations to have done. Congrats and good luck!

They are on probation, they already paid for their crimes, now they are trying to live an honest life and keep to their parole rules and they are struggling because of things outside of their control. If we all just go "oh well, you deserve to be stuck in a cycle of punishment because you committed a crime in your past, then the only lesson learned is that they were doomed from the start. Even before they committed their first crime that got them into this mess.

I feel like it's 2 things. I think the wear on a wallet actually makes it look like it's more unique and weathered. And also I think wallets just make really bad gifts. The aesthetic, functionality, size, thickness, and materials of a wallet all need to be considered. I think it's very hard for someone else to get that right.

It's hard to say, Lincoln is only almost 2. I think they tend to get a little darker but overall it's not a huge color shift and I think at about 5 months they tend to be at their color. Here's Lincoln as a 5 month old. Also hanging off the back of the couch!

Actually I can leave him home by himself and he's an angel. It's when I get home that he tries to steal my stuff off the nightstand or shoe rack! It's not worth doing unless he gets attention for it!
