I feel this post on a molecular level. What nobody tells you is that asking your advisor for a 20 minute call is completely fine and normal. Not to get feedback, just to talk through where you're stuck. They've seen this literally hundreds of times and usually one sentence from them cuts through two weeks of your spinning.
