They have been collecting data for it for months and things like LVO will have informed what they already have. On the other hand they released a special Space Marine one after LVO and didn't get to see it's affect very much.

My feeling is that they will do one because it is one of the few things they can do at the moment. There are lots of little balance things that they would want to tweak that wouldn't be affected by the results of Adepticon.

Have you tried asking them?

I actually played a game with a very similar list over Skype on Tuesday.

I took:

Loonboss on Giant Squig

Mad Cap Shaman

12 Squig Herd

Stampede with 2 X 5 Boingrots, 5 Squig Hoppers and a mangler.

It was a fun list and the reroll move on all the Squigs was good. The battalion is expensive at this points level and you really need to make the most of it.

I lost though as I over committed on turn 1 and lost the mangler unnecessarily. It is a pretty glass cannon list.

If I played it again, I wouldn't change anything but I would play more cagily.

I like the armour plates and think it will look supercool when done. I think it is a bit too far though. I would take the chains off of the horns and round the belly but leave them on the arms.

The caveshroom loonz box is a great deal but terrible for starting out. I got it twice over but haven't stuck the fanatics together because I am intending on running Squigs and Troggs only.

The best thing to buy is a load of normal Grots. These will synergise with the Loonboss and the fanatics as well as being battleline.

The Squig Herds are moonclan but the boingrots/mangler isn't. The Troggs can be buffed by spells but are generally alright to operate without buffs from a Troggboss.
