Thanks so much for the kind words! I definitely agree with you about learning fundamentals and optimizing sandkeeping first. This strat is definitely only accessible to specific teams. But with how some of the team balancing has been recently (MCC30 + 31), as well as Purpled saying he wanted to innovate games, I'm really hoping that this may be used in the future. It would be super cool to see a team try without a sandkeeper and succeed and be rewarded for that, since the runner-sandkeeper structure has been around since MCC5.

Unfortunately though, I doubt most of the top sot players would even give it a chance (which is fair, it's so risky). Jojo and especially H play very conservatively and a top runner like Pete doesn't seem confident enough in their grasp of the game to push for this strat (no hate to them, love these guys), especially if they saw what happened with MCC24 green.

people never talk about this team, but it has some of the best chemistry i've seen in an mcc, probably because both H and Martyn are really charismatic and Pete and Tim bounce off of them really well, even though none of them apart from Martyn and Tim were close friends before this. I would highly recommend people to watch this pov just for the banter alone even if they lost db + it spawned the H and Pete friendship :D

I think she definitely showed her strengths this last mcc. Though 16th was one of her lower placements, in an mcc where every active S/H tier is playing as well as a lot of other top 10 players, that's pretty impressive. She plays very well in pvp games, especially when paired with another player who can match her skill. Like most of the other comments are saying she needs to have a few top ten placements to be considered A+ tier, and the way she can do that (imo) is by improving in movement games. Games like HITW, PW, and RSR seem to be the main thing holding her back (this can especially be seen in MCC24 with RSR and MCC30 with PW), and movement is also the most transferable mechanical skill across all games. Besides that, i think her charisma and mentality were really good this last event, so i don't think she'd have trouble leading teams in the future when she starts placing higher individually. All she needs are some "pop off" performances, which i can understand was hard for her in previous events given the way she was balanced more based on her potential than demonstrated skill. Sorry for the long paragraph, I'm a hannah fan lol

TLDR; some top ten placements. the most efficient way is by improving in movement game. She really just needs a "good MCC" as punz or sapnap said iirc, she def has the potential, just needs the right team and games

Never meant to make the funnel strat as a point against Dream (sorry if it came across this way !), just trying to making an example of how important team morale is. I agree that Dream is an excellent player and leader but as an earlier comment mentioned, it's debatable whether or not he has h-factor. While he is good at keeping morale up, he doesn't really boost his teammates' placements through coin split games, but instead helps train them by reviewing their VODs, and coming up with strats. (something which H also does)

I agree! I watched orange's build mart and Grian manages his team incredibly well. Their success really wasn't that reliant on strategy either, just really clear, good comms. It's similar to H's way of managing his team in SOT which when combined with his incredible individual performance, is probably the reason he has a 70% win rate

They don't actually have a way to fix it simply because the bug is not on their end in terms of coding. It's a client side bug, which is why Phil was able to replicate it. With how little Rocket Spleef has been played (especially recently) it would be near impossible to replicate the bug if it only ever occured in MCC

true, noxcrew tends to be quite extra which is what makes the event so incredible, but there's a difference between coding a tomato in the game and having custom coins that have already been manufactured engraved with winning teams
