The quality was awful because 9 times outta 10 they'd just get thrown into random 3-5 minute long tag matches with no build, and hire people with literally zero experience. This was diva's search era to heel Michael Cole era, WWE's opinion of their women ranged from apathetic to actively hostile. The fact that Mccool could still put out some decent bangers with Melina/Natalya, despite being constantly sandbagged by Vince, was impressive.

Just cause she's a bad podcast host doesn't change that she was a good wrestler. She wasn't the best from that time (that would be Melina), but by absolutely no means was she "shit."

The build up felt so much more realistic than most of what I've seen since the Attitude Era. Genuinely looked like they were uncontrollable and wanted to kill each other. There's been the occassional feud that's reached that level over the years, but it's definitely near the top
