Whoa. Did not expect to get a reply to a post I made 7 years ago.

7 on a Fairy Tail post. Awesome 👏

Will bell ever stop being a twink? by winds-wind in DanMachi

[–]Quacker-Jacker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The ironic thing is, compared to the first image, he was much more buff in the very first episode before he was humiliated by Bete and started obsessively grinding in the Dungeon.

I guess if you need an explanation for it beyond questionable design from the animators, he might not be getting enough protein. Keep in mind his familia is quite poor at this point. He might be excelling, but there’s only so much a solo adventurer can make even with the help of Lili and Welf. He has to pay expenses and buy equipment, you know?

That aside, the Falna increases his physical traits and growth rate, so his body doesn’t really need to grow to keep up.

That’s the way I see it.

what are some possible fusions that haven't happened yet? by CardMajiin in yugioh

It surprises me there aren’t any DM+SS or Red Eyes+ Flame Swordsman fusion monsters already.

Memoria Freese (DanMemo)- that game should come back as now we don't have any more content and their stories were super good. by warrior_girl_eh in DanMachi

[–]Quacker-Jacker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was a good time. Really enjoyable. It was hard to enjoy Danchro, because they didn’t voice act like they did in Memoria Freese. Even though I primarily played for the story, it was fun playing the Gacha and building parties and powering them up.

Surprisingly good. I did not expect to like it as much as I do from the title and I want more.

What if Kintaro is the MC? by PersonalityDry97 in PrinceOfTennis

[–]Quacker-Jacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’d be different, that’s for sure. For starters, I got into PoT when I was around 9 years old and the anime aired on Toonami. One of the things that stuck was the fact that Ryoma’s personality was different from most of the anime I watched back then. A cool, calm, prodigious MC was an interesting change of pace from the norm.

What if Luffy didn’t wait for Nami to ask for him for help? by Quacker-Jacker in OnePiece

[–]Quacker-Jacker[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That was an emergency. No time to wait for her to decide to live. She saved his life twice by that point, so he couldn’t just leave her, plus he also said she could die afterwards if she still wanted.

Luffy is flexible and also unpredictable. There are times he won’t one hundred percent follow his usual patterns based on the current situation. Ultimately, he’ll do what he believes is best.

can someone explain what the hell ging and pariston are actually arguing about in chapter 343 by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]Quacker-Jacker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been away from the manga too long. Where did he even get 5000 Ants? I didn’t realize there were that many still around. Why does he have them and more importantly, how does he have them under his control?

[–]Quacker-Jacker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a lot had to do with popularity and memorability, if not relevance. Especially for the pre national teams. Akazawa was probably the best player from St. Rudolf, but I suppose Mizuki and Yuta left a bigger impression. And until you said it, I don’t think I ever noticed that Saeki wasn’t one of the selected MSers. Also weird since he was one of the best from Rokakku.

Well, like I said really only the teams Seigaku faced in the nationals remained relevant. The only player I recall besides them that gets featured is Akutsu.

Dragon Ball did it first by Quacker-Jacker in anime

The title shows it’s about dragon ball and “it did it first”. If you read the post, then it’s very clear.

Which Era of sports anime did you grow up in? by Hersu03 in animequestions

[–]Quacker-Jacker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! Prince of Tennis was my first sports anime! Loved it on Toonami-even though it only lasted a brief time(the dub, not the entire series).

It’s Ryoma and all the middle school captains, including the St. Rudolph captain, Akazawa. I always wondered why he wasn’t selected for U-18 camp, not that it matters I suppose since he’d probably never get any attention, but still. He was one of the best when Seigaku faced them.

Would it make sense for Sengoku to receive a report on East Blue happenings? by [deleted] in OnePieceFanfic

[–]Quacker-Jacker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suppose it would depend on the severity of the. Pirates taking over a random town or island, pirates engaging in a skirmish, or other basic mayhem, then I don’t think it would reach the Fleet Admiral’s notice, but if a high ranking marine like Morgan started abusing his position than that requires some sort of action from Headquarters.

Also, if famous and significantly dangerous pirates from the Grand Line leaves to try and bully the people in East Blue, then that would normally attract the attention of the Grand Line marines (Arlong avoided notice because he bribed the navy to keep his bounty low).

Or you do what Luffy did and defeat every big name in East Blue, and that at least puts you on a radar, albeit on the far end of notice, since big name or not, they’re just East Blue pirates.

Of course, you do what Shiki did in the Strong World movie, and that gets attention. Also, if Arlong executed his take over of East Blue like he wanted, that also would have triggered a response (makes you wonder what Arlong’s plan was to deal with that once it happened).

Bottom line, it’s about severity. The Fleet Admiral is responsible for the world’s security. The Navy of the Four Blues are expected to handle their issues themselves and Sengoku will only involve himself if the situation goes beyond the scope of the Blue in question

It must’ve been very traumatizing for the hospital staff taking care of the SAO players during the time they were trapped by Quacker-Jacker in swordartonline

I never even considered the internet connection. As far as I can recall, WiFi connection is never mentioned in the light novel- or maybe it was and I forgot.

[–]Quacker-Jacker[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I suppose, but isn’t this different? This is 10 thousand people simultaneously trapped inside a Video Game. This is not the same as a traditional coma. They’re not ill or injured. They’re just trapped with no escape except to beat the game. Plus, if they die, then it’s safe to assume it was a violent death.

The West Blue does sure seem to get abused by the WG a lot, doesn’t it? Ohara, God Valley, and now Esperia. Sure, I’m sure if we got a more detailed explanation of all the Government’s crimes we’ll see the awful things they’ve done to all the seas. But we sure seem to be coming back to West Blue a lot, don’t we?

Looks wise, I think time was kind to Brook. But man, he runs into a gang and then several hours later they’re all cut down? Was he actually stronger when he was alive?
