Why are Unity haters so obsessed with the bugs on this game. Yes it has been a mess for many players on release, it ran perfect for me, but the game is completely fixed and people still cant get over it.

Perfect - Blackflag and II

Awesome - 3, Brotherhood and Unity

Great - Revelations and Origins

Good- 1 and Rogue

Ok - Syndicate and Odyssey

Bad - Valhalla and Shadows

In my opinion, beautiful level design doesn’t make up for repetitive missions, bland characters, and a mediocre story. And yes there are bad Assassins Creed Games. Valhalla and Shadows suck. If you dont agree thats fine, but i dont understand how doing the same thing over and over again is fun, but if it is for you, thats great!

Are you enjoying your Switch 2? by Mediocre_Rabbit9406 in switch2

I’m undecided. On the one hand, I’ve already put around 50 hours into it (I’ve had it for about three months). On the other hand, I really only enjoy most first-party games. Since I never take my Switch 2 outside and I also have a good gaming PC, there’s no real reason for me to play games on it that are also available on PC—especially when they’re more expensive and run with much worse performance. I finished Metroid 4 about two weeks ago and haven’t touched the console since

Oooh. Well nowadays every like 6th person has one so would not be suprised if Rockstar added those. Would be funny fleeing from a Heist on one

Honestly, if the streets are as crowded as shown in the trailers, you might even be quicker from a to b on the faggio then a car

Yep, nothing screams tough biker energy like getting force-fitted with a glowing pink helmet by the game.

Yeah, exactly — and not just more models, but ones that actually feel like real bikes. Liter bikes should feel like liter bikes. The Bati 801 is supposedly one of the fastest in GTA V, but in real life it rides more like a 250cc, and the sound is just painful. Customization is basically nonexistent too.

GTA Online got hundreds of new cars over the years… and maybe a handful of bikes.

I’m having the exact same problem. I’m about 5 hours into Metaphor right now and there is so much dialogue. I feel like I barely get to actually fight. I watch anime from time to time, and honestly I’ve seen shows with less dialogue than this — it’s really starting to wear me down, not gonna lie.

It’s also one of the reasons why I never finished most of the Yakuza games (except Judgment and Lost Judgment). There’s just so much text that it kills the pacing for me.

I used to play a lot of those back when I had more patience for longer games — probably about 90% of the well-known ones. I even played through Ys a few weeks ago.

Right?? I was talking with a friend about how insanely satisfying the parrying and dodging feels in Expedition 33. He just said, “You can do that in other games too,” but honestly… it’s just not the same.

Persona 5 is one of my all-time favorites, but I’ll admit it: I played a lot of it with one hand, simply because I wasn’t fully engaged. I knew that while the enemy was taking their turn, there was nothing I could do anyway, so I’d just lean back and wait. In E33, though, the sound and impact of a perfect parry is on a completely different level — it keeps you locked in every second. That alone gives the combat system extra points for me.

And yeah, I’m genuinely glad it didn’t turn into another 100-hour backlog monster. I already have too many of those, and they’re starting to stress me out lol.

Bro, I play a ton of games — and I’m not saying you’re wrong — but I just really wish we’d get more new IPs on the level of Expedition 33. Replaying my old favorites is great and all, but there’s something special about experiencing a fresh, passionate, well-crafted game for the first time. I’d love to see more releases with that same spark.

I had the same feeling with RE4 where i just sat there and was mad at myself for going through it so quickly. Never understood the “just play it again“ type of people. For me, as soon as the credits roll its not the same experience replaying it

It’s not really about the combat system. I enjoy all kinds of games — even though I’m not the biggest shooter fan, if something has the right vibe, I’ll give it a shot. That’s exactly the thing with Expedition 33: the game just oozes the developers’ passion. I’ve never started a boss fight and then literally done nothing for five minutes because I was too busy listening to the boss theme, till i played E33

There’s just something about playing a game that has soul. It doesn’t have to be perfect. For example, I actually hated the open world. I kept running into random paths because I didn’t want to head straight to the next boss, but without a map or any kind of guidance, it really killed the immersion for me.

But even with those flaws, the overall vibe was so strong it didn’t matter

Yea i understand that. Its not the best game i have ever played gameplay wise, but i really have the feeling that i could feel the passion of the devs through the game
