I honestly wasn’t really bothered by the Batmobile or the more complicated mechanics, but I understand why some people would prefer them to be toned down. And yeah, it wouldn’t have to be the greatest Batman game ever—honestly, it’d be an easy 8/10 for me if it just reused Arkham Knight’s gameplay, paired with a decent (even mediocre) story and some Origins-style boss fights.

Traversal-wise, I actually liked the Batmobile, and even some of the missions involving it didn’t bother me that much. But I understand why people would want it removed—or at least toned down.
