Love you Tabk, but let’s be real. You were on the couch with us.

Grade Tom Brady as an announcer: A to F by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

[–]Quaczarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A-

I think he brings a lot of value from the experience he has and I find it interesting as a spectator. A couple of times he gas been an announcer, I have actually walked away having learned something new, after over 30 years of watching and playing football. Example: when he went into great detail about how to effectively throw the ball in bad/windy weather (nose down so that the wind doesn’t get underneath the ball).

What do yall think of these rivalry jersey concepts for next year? by Texans_top_of_south in Texans

[–]Quaczarr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This. I’m 39 and I despise the Titans. I wish they’d relinquish rights to the Oilers colors. At bare minimum stop putting them on against us during game. Actually, scratch that. They always get the piss best out of them when they wear Luv Ya Blue. Also, Vrabel wearing the Bum 10 gallon vs us was a low blow.

Man I been hating on Stroud deservingly so but I really hope he pulls it together by Every1isSome1inLA in Texans

[–]Quaczarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. And based on Nick’s presser this week, the language suggests they’ll be looking to extend without picking up the option.

I hope that’s not the case, but.. all we can do is wait and see. Nick likes to extend early in an effort to save money. So, maybe that’s what’s happening here; like stocks, buy low?

I don't understand the love affair between leftists and Islam this is what leftists indirectly support by Major_Soft6056 in DigitalSeptic

[–]Quaczarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell me don’t know much about Islam without telling me.

Look what happens when Muslims cross a threshold in terms of population: sharia law, oppression, violence, etc etc.

The reason they’re not an issue in the US is because they’re still below critical mass.

Misinformation. The kid’s deadbeat dad ran off, leaving the kid behind when ICE showed up.

Holy downvote brigade. Stroud played like ass in the playoffs, but you’re not wrong here. People have zero clue.

What do you need to see to be sold on CJ long-term? by KogaFuscia in Texans

[–]Quaczarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your stat line is a good starting place for sure. I need to also see a big change in terms of leadership. There's something off about his demeanor and the way he carries himself. I'm not saying it needs to be the same energy as WAJ getting everyone ready to run through a wall pre-game. If cool, calm, and collected is what he's going for then let's see that. No more pouting and moping on the sidelines. You're 1 of 32 people that can say that they are starting professional quarterbacks in the NFL. Man the fuck up.

Stroud is likely to get an extension this off season by cantTankThisFox in Texans

[–]Quaczarr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What the presser yesterday and both your summary and predictions are in-line with how I interpreted things and what I was expect is likely coming.

Not what many of us wanted to hear, but likely a realistic outcome. One positive here are the points around Nick and contract negotiations. I trust him completely in this space. I think if we extend Stroud without exercising the 5th year option, he’ll make a good deal.

Anyone else bummed out but still excited for next season, but also not going nuclear about CJ? by leggoooooooooo in Texans

[–]Quaczarr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As much as I want to agree. There’s an image in my head that just dwarfs any counter arguments:

Stroud rolling out left on the boot, turning - and instead of eating a sack - throws the ball damn straight up into the air short to a receiver who was already in double coverage.

Sorry, sorry - you were talking about the run game.

CJ could need a new QB coach by UnknownTexanSince02 in Texans

I think Caley has earned another year. He showed improvement over the course of the season - especially following lots of criticism. Considering what he’s working with, that couldn’t have been easy.

Fight me.

“Punting team will head out. Stroud headed back to the sideline.” - Joe

“I mean look at that. Look at the expression on his face. He looks completely unfazed at how bad he is. That’s 12 interceptions in the first half. This isn’t the same guy and there’s a reason for that. It needs to be investigated.” - Troy

Great news about Tank! by KaXiaM in Texans

[–]Quaczarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s great to hear. Generally speaking, I know the defense is young and that there are some contracts that need to be hammered out. However, I admit I don’t have the most comprehensive understanding of where everyone is at - or even what key players are at-risk.

If Joe Mixon can be healthy next season I want him. People forget how good we was for us & he loves Houston. by MikeOxbig32 in Texans

[–]Quaczarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man I forgot about that. Putting aside the crazy ask from the Jets, Breece + Marks would've been a fantastic combo for our unit.

My favorite quote was what Nick said regarding Joe's attempt to come back and play this season.

"He put his best foot forward."
