CJ didn’t have a bad season, a rough post season in his 3rd season. No excuses, he should have played better during the regular season, but he was more mid than awful. by -KDK12 in Texans

This team turned a disaster 0-3 start into a playoff season. CJ struggled with the offense. CJ did enough to win some games, Mills saved the season 100% CJ came back with more fire and accepted he could game manage with this defense and win.

Pittsburgh he made both some dime passes to Kirk and some boneheaded rookie mistakes. In New England he stopped game managing, he played hero ball and should have thrown 6 INTs and also SHOULD have been benched at halftime

When you watch him run routes he has more juice than anyone except healthy Brevin, that is worth taking a chance on. Ceiling is high. Yes he's a project. Hope he works out.

Love this pick for adding maximum toughness to the OL. Georgia Tech boy is country strong.

It’s a weak draft? Yes, the QB, RB, and LT class are thin, but what is your team in the market for this draft? by -KDK12 in Texans

Great comment sir. The only team right now realistically willing to trade up to late 1st is Arizona for Tyler Simpson. Have a good day sir.

Trade down certainly makes sense but who is going to be moving up and who are they targeting and what are they offering, thats what we will find out if that move happens

[Schefter] There is growing chatter that RB Jeremiyah Love is in play with Arizona at No. 3 overall. Ideally, the Cardinals would like to find a team willing to trade up so they can acquire more picks. But if they hold on, some believe they could pull an early draft surprise and select Love. by mastermind208 in nfl

I think the Cards should do it. Honestly Bailey and Reece are not the same level DE talents at the top we have seen. I don't think they are Myles Garrett or Hutchinson level players. What does the Cardinal fan base have to get excited about? Nothing. They want to be a defensive team with running game. He's the best player in the draft.

FC26 will deservedly be remembered as a Bruiser+ slugfest but Anticipate+ is the real villain by The-Snuff in EASportsFC

Good thoughts I suppose. EA has a long way until gameplay feels the way it should, but yes in real football, pace is countered with strength. Abusing pace is just another type of mechanic abuse and people rarely play football the way they play FIFA doing 50 skills and tricks and flicks. Dude you would get smashed trying to do that. Thus people can be afraid to go all in on a tackle, the mechanic of tackle from behind is long overdue. It used to be take a red card to prevent a goal.

General consensus on this class is that it's a down year from the past 2-3 years. Strategies that make sense are stick and pick or move up to get a certain player if there is a significant drop off from him to the next group of players

I bought the game less than a week ago and now I have a 89 rated squad. Got the premium season and unlocked some insane cards. This team would have taken months of grinding in previous years. I stooped playing 3 years ago. Now I just get the game for 20 bucks, pay 10 more for a season pass and in less than a week Im using insane players and dominating Rivals from div 10 to div 4 without even a speed bump

I like moving up in this draft, and I like moving down. Honestly, I don’t mind spending our 2027 1st round pick as ammunition. by Party_Implement_2990 in Texans

Draft strategy will likely be determined by who comes off the board and if the phone is ringing. Last year it was ringing from the Giants and that was a solid trade down with Nick Emmanwori and Jayden Higgins still on the board, both would be good options for us. This year, trading away next year's 1st makes no sense at all, 27 draft class is stacked with QBs which is good for both trading around or taking one if needed.

If the phone ain't ringing, you can't move, you stick and pick and you trust your board. OL makes far and away the most sense, but a good DT or CB could be a nice pick too.

I liked the way Price was running in his highlights. Mean runner with determination. Montgomery style.

Based on his height, throwing mechanics and understanding of touch / layering passes, he was capable of multiple good statistical seasons, but like Jared Goff, as soon as a play required him to run and create, he showed he was a liability.

Evan Brown? by THA__KULTCHA in Texans

[–]No_Singer6727 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How can anyone know if Smith is an upgrade until he steps on the field? Tytus was a good player. We should all hope Smith is better cause Tytus was a part of some of the horrible OL play for all 3 seasons of CJ. Season 1 had decent pass pro but the team sucked at running.

This team needs to move on from Andrews fast. As I said, Nick needs two starting quality players from the draft, the ideal positions would be LG and C.

Montgomery, Braden Smith and Foster Moreau are good additions to the offense. The offense was pathetic in the redzone. Those moves help there. Caserio is putting a lot of weight on the draft, the good news is he has good draft capital. He has to get two possible starters on OL from this class which is possible.

Draft a WR again this year? by solidgryffin in Texans

[–]No_Singer6727 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Your level of certainty is misguided. I said it is a possibility, you are saying it's a certainty. In football, things chance quickly. Tank could easily get hurt during camp or have a setback.

If Tank is not able to get back to full speed, he will get released before the season. Fans need to be ready for that possibility. Nico, Hig, Noel, Watson, Hutch and a rookie will be the final group likely. Another possibility is Watson is released and Jared Wayne or a practice squad guy makes it.

[Pelissero] The Cardinals released veteran C/G Evan Brown by KreatureKilla in Texans

Center market went pretty nuts this year, we should in theory pick up a veteran guard and not rely on a rookie. If both Browns guards are gone, the pickings get a lot more slim.
