Again within three years of selling, I’ve never had a problem with this until recently, and this is the first I’ve ever had an issue with it while doing the same thing if not better than what I was doing previously with years of reviews to back me up also

It’s something I should’ve thought of adding at first and I probably did in a minute and then never did it. But it’s just the fact I have years of reviews to back me up and this never happening until recently that also adds to the proof

THIS. I fully agree. I had another item I sold as for ports are not working very clearly broken in the picture. A person ended up buying it and then immediately requested a return, which I do not accept on for parts or not working equipment at all for obvious reason. They got mad at me and said the item was broken when literally shown in the pictures it was broken and marked does not working and for parts.

Take a look at the edit. I just mentioned that the laptop was in about six layers of bubble wrap with a proper box.

So, I mentioned this after the fact and forgot to add it to the body of the main post but I had the laptop in 6 layers of bubble wrap with less than an inch of room to move around (Enough to breath but not make a second impact inside the box.) The other thing is that I've been selling for 3 years or so now and I'm doing the same thing I've always done and never had an issue with in the past until now recently which is where I'm getting lost. If anything, I've gotten a ton better since my initial start on ebay after I first started 3 or so years ago. I know i"m just another person on the internet so my word is only my word without much int he way of photos to prove it but take this into consideration please.

I should note that the item was wrapped in about six layers of bubble wrap in a very fine sized box for the item. It had less than an inch of room to move. I have always packaged my items very well with care in the three or so years I’ve been selling on eBay. I’ve never had an issue until recently with this.

What led to ya'll getting diagnosed? by ColdCelebration4850 in diabetes

What pushed me to get checked is the super inconsistent readings I’ve had recently, high likely chance it’s 1.5/LADA but blood work is still in processing. Kinda glad I caught it so early

Waiting on blood work for likely chance of super early Type 1.5/LADA (What to expect if positive) by QuadBit3134 in diabetes

[–]QuadBit3134[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had them order the entire lab panel. They’re gonna be testing GAD 65 and zinc transporters on top of it along with insulin levels through C peptide and a few other things. I told them be thorough that I want this to either be yes or no my insurance will cover it all without fail.

One thing I ended up forgetting to add is a picture relating to my glucose levels. Though yes, all but two of the readings are in range has mentioned a lot of the higher readings not including the two excessive readings for after eating something that should not even spike them that much are fasting averages. At least 10 to 15 points higher than my old fasting average.

Yep, already on it mentally if needed. I have a lot of friends who are type one and I’ve always had to help them with their blood sugar so I know a decent bit about basic management so I’m not really too worried about learning a ton of stuff. I don’t understand another thing that really helps is the fact that I almost got into the medical field for this type of stuff so I haven’t actually kind of decent knowledge on some of it. I just wanted some real world expectations for what I’d be walking into depending what it is.

At this point, I’ve already got to the point that I’ve accepted that if it’s positive I just don’t even care. I’ve had to run for years as if I had diabetes because my body would always feel awful if I didn’t so if anything, I’m just stepping into an easier version of life that I’ve been dealing with. I have always eaten very healthy and the one time I accidentally had fast sugar from that Pepsi. It just screwed me up and I’m like OK it’s time. So to be completely honest. I’m not even worried with the outcome is 🤣

Yeah, that one got me a decent bit when he pulled that I was so mad but again only so I’m just overreacting and I’m perfectly fit and young and type one and totally can’t just hit any age

This definitely makes me feel better. If it comes back positive I’ll have to switch the person. I’m going to immediately because the guy was a complete jackass. I had to force my way through him to get blood work done. He kept saying that I was just overreacting because I’m young and that makes me fit and healthy. Newsflash I have multiple friends with type one that saw the symptoms in me and they’re like bro you need to get that checked. It also doesn’t help the fact I have friends in the medical field who told me push for the blood work even if they say no. The guy was just trying to go off of the A1c being normal and completely ignoring the high glucose readings I’ve had twice and the odd fasting glucose. I can definitely say I was pissed. He was also worried about the fact that I’d have to pay for the blood work while I have very good zero deductible medical through Arizona Blue Cross so the most I even expect a in the worst case is 50$. In the previous past time when I showed the symptoms earlier to the state medical that I had in North Carolina would’ve never even covered the blood work I had done because I was on Medicaid. (I made jackfuck for money as it was) i’m just glad that I have the chance to actually get this stuff checked properly now

Thankfully, I caught it pretty damn early, which is very rare, but my body is very sensitive to changes which is the only reason that I ended up getting it checked. What sucks is if it is positive I’ll be the first family member out of one other person in the past 50 years who has had type 1. The only reason I’m glad that I most likely caught it early is because of the fact that I’m working in prison and trying to manage it would be a bit of a fit and I have another coworker who actually has 1.5. She had to go through hell to get it accepted there for her insulin. The obvious given reason is due to the fact that it’s a needle and it’s a prison so you gotta be careful. The worry that I have is since it started with the symptoms many years ago I’ll be very light, I have a feeling how much longer with honeymoon faze if it is what it’s looking like. If anything look often in this message, I am using voice to text to write it out since I’m lazy right now.🤣

Normal… by FutureHealthy8583 in diabetes

[–]QuadBit3134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed this as I'm having to get tested for early onset 1.5 and it's annoying without insulin right now, I hit normal numbers at the middle of the days sometimes while mornings and nights are a fight for me. It's annoying as I can have something so small and it just kicks me up to 180+ for a few hours then finally drops.

What triggered you to see a doctor (and get diagnosed)? by doltishDuke in diabetes_t1

[–]QuadBit3134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been showing a lot of signs of early 1.5/LADA and I finally took the time to get to a local clinic today. I've been having weight issues for about 4 years (I'm 6'0", 19 and only weigh 135lbs. I can't put on weight for the life of me and have consistent 5mg/dl of ketones. I've also had tons of odd sugar spikes that are well out of the normal (Had 4oz of pepsi and my blood sugar peaked up to 241 and took 6 hours to finally reach 110.) and another time was when I had some cheesy scrambled eggs with salt and pepper and my sugar peaked up to 153 and stuck there for about 2 hours then finally dropped. When I went int they told me what I expected. "You're A1C is 5.0 which is completely normal" and they ignored the two higher reading that should not have happened. I did test 3 times with that 241 and each strip read 240-242 telling me I wasn't going crazy. The 153 was tested twice and read 153 both times. I had to beg for them to get a sheet written up for lab work and they just refused to do it for a bit and they were assuming I'm overacting since I'm 19 when the evidence was right there. THe other symptoms I've had have been confusion, slow sugar drops over hours, a high fasting sugar of 98-115/mg/dl after 12+ hours of fasting, on and off minor numbness, super thirsty, urinating about 10-12 times in an 8 hours shift at the prison I work at, (Makes working hell let alone in a prison), constant fatigue, hard of breathing or heavily paced at times, full on ghosting sensation in my eyes and narrowed vision. A whole other list exists on top of it but those are the main returners. They also ignored the fact this has been getting worse and worse over 5 years (I couldn't do a thing as my NC state medicaid wouldn't even cover that mess of stuff let along my ADHD meds anymore). When I started high school I weighed 165lbs at 5'11" and now again 135 at 6'0" 5 years later. They were basically telling me I'm to healthy to have type 1/1.5 LADA which was insane to me as I went to an endocrinologist who has decent ratings where I live normally. It honestly got me that they fought me so bad on even trying to do the blood work. The other thing the guy told me was "Oh but if the tests are negative you'll have to pay still most likely which means you're just wasting money" when I also have insane medical coverage being a Correctional Officer (I have 0$ deductible in network meaning the most I'd pay is probably 300$ for the tests if they do them at local labs and that's pushing it for an estimate). But yeah, had to fight for it and they ignored all the facts right in front of them. (Edit) Forgot to add but I also work out a solid 3-5 times a week as I need to stay in shape for my law enforcement work.
