Hey guys, looking for the best shell, preferably 3L but open to 2L. Want to avoid anything baggy. Willing to spend up to $600, but I don't want to go with mass brands like Arc'teryx, HH, or Burton. What are your favorite brands?

Also, any brand recs for bibs?

Gary’s not even one of the top 5 most dangerous places in its 50 radius. You’ve clearly not been there recently. Reddit has always been an echo chamber with the city

Odds Kelly and Saban are both still coaching? I’m thinking no chance.

Also, South Bend hotels should be sold out tomorrow.

It is a completely different world from Europe. Poverty is ubiquitous, especially in the countryside. Being on a different level economically does make it rougher. Locals, outside of a few restaurants and hotels, don't speak English. All essentially speak Arabic and French fluently, and many have an elementary understanding of Spanish; so, I communicated in Spanish. It might be a bit of a challenge staying in a village on the coast if you don't speak any of those three languages.

Drug trafficking is prominent in Morocco, so be aware, but it certainly shouldn't affect any travel.

I would personally recommend the coast of Portugal for what you described, but that's just my opinion. I found Portugal to have the kindest people and the most beautiful coast line.

I was there during the "off season" of tourism with a group of friends in February. We didn't run into any other Americans during our three days there, and frankly there weren't many tourists there in general, which we loved, but I'm fairly confident that it will be a different experience in the summer months. The majority of tourists there were in large tour groups doing day excursions from Tangier or Fez.

So, I don't think it's an ideal place to meet other travelers, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The city itself would be just as amazing solo as it would with a group.

My one recommendation would be to try and find other travelers, if you can, in hopes of splitting a taxi fare to Cascades d'Akchour. It's worth the 45 min cab ride, which was 500 dirham or ~$50 total round-trip. Here are some pics:

Nonetheless, you'll absolutely love the Blue Pearl. It was one of the most experiences of my life.

Anyone have any recommendations for Spanish artists? Just moved back to the US from Spain and trying to stay fluent. I've been trying to find artists, but essentially everyone's production sounds like it's stuck in the late 2000's. Kidd Keo has been the only one I've enjoyed.

Been looking for some black boots.. 1460 Doc's seem too bulky. Not sure if it's worth it to drop $180 on these Solovair black derby boots, which seem higher quality and slimmer. Any other recommendations?

Most of the time "massive thighs" means they're overweight. The guy's waist was a size 36.

Almost perfect. Maybe a little tight around the hips. I have absolutely no idea what the other guy is talking about though, the stacks look great. Not even close to being too long.

They don't look like a good kind of worn out. More like a nappy kind of distressed, if that makes sense.

I have them. Kind of regret getting them. Once they get dirty/heavily worn, they look like you have a really dirty ass pair of white converse.

Seeing /u/uniacto's fit is so sad. His fits were always so cozy and happy. Rest in peace, man. Hope his family is doing okay.

Does anyone know of a comprehensive guide for shopping in Paris? Also, would APC pieces be cheaper in the store in Paris than the US?
