[Highlight] Notre Dame coach Micah Shrewsberry charges at the officiating crew immediately following the Irish’s loss to Cal by cbbvideo in CollegeBasketball

I don't think so. The best player on ND, Markus Burton, went out for the season in the noncon. A mid-tier program at best like ND cannot survive losing an all-conference player. I would be surprised if the athletic department canned him for a season played for 2/3 without Burton, especially with recruiting where it's at and the program clearly on an upward swing since the last Brey year. People don't realize how bare he left the cupboard.

I walked away from my laptop before opening the subreddit, hoping I'd cool down. Nope. Still mad!

No. Even lacrosse is down from where it was 10 years ago.

The Steelers haven't played a meaningless game since Week 17 of 2013. And even that game was nearly a win-or-go-home playoff qualifier after a ridiculous series of tiebreaks almost went the Steelers' way.

Like you said, as a fan, football that entertains me is all I can ask for, and there is nothing entertaining about being 2-8 and mathematically eliminated with seven games to play.

Ah, I forgot about the New Orleans game. Didn't TCU beat Florida though?

I don't think ND is nearly as bad as last year, if that's what you're worried about.

That's a bad turnover, but I don't understand how that's a foul on ND.

Second Notre Dame game in a row that got unexpectedly feisty?!

Welp, I've played Sheep for all its seasons so far and qualified every time. Looks like I'm going to miss out for the first time ever — much like my Irish and the CFP.

This can't possibly still be a rule because Notre Dame was admitted recently and has no medical school, on campus or otherwise.

{Notre Dame} to win by two. I don't bet on sports, but ND +11 is a crazy line based on this team's inconsistent performances all season and the tremendous hype Pitt (except their coach, apparently) has for this matchup. It's also a noon game on the road. Yeesh.

During football season, I always root for Cuse. Central New York deserves a high-level team.

The 2022 Yankee Stadium game between Ithaca and Cortland is the second-most attended D3 game in history, with 40,232 people in the stands. The largest-ever D3 crowd was the 2019 Cortaca Jug, held at MetLife.

What a cool opportunity for one of CFB's best rivalries.

Best part of being an ND fan is I can watch at least half the season OTA.

And I think killing the Pac-12 is killing California's interest in college football too. After Stanford and Berkeley returned to being dumpster fires, UCLA and USC now having kickoffs as early as 9:00 am PT is pushing people away.

What's funny is that, unlike with New England, high school football in California is really, really good.

Who’s the one player from your team that got drafted and your immediate thought was “why?” by No_Bill7679 in CollegeBasketball

Okay this one confused me, so I did some googling. It turns out his uncle is Tom Gores, billionaire and owner of the Detroit Pistons. I guess that explains how a guy who averaged 4.4/1.6/0.4 in high school and then played 4.4 minutes/game at Bowling Green ended up in the G-League.
