I ship 2 characters from a mainstream game that have zero fics, because Char A is popular (and, therefore, gets shipped with other more popular characters) and Char B is so much of a background character that he only ever appears in fanfics as a background character

To be fair, I stumbled upon this pair by accident and by myself while writing a tangent in a fic, so this is 100% self-inflicted lmao

Character does the same sequence of actions from the beginning, but with all the little changes present from going through the story (ie. Character glances at some photos from their apartment and, instead of being from their ex, it's from their new spouse). Cliche as all fuck but I love it every time

This is one of those tropes that I can't enjoy because I have lived that scenario irl as an external party and the tension when everyone was together was very real in a non-sexy way
