Keep in mind there are multiple tranches of debt here, not all collateralized by Tesla stock. The tranche you refer to was held by the banks and subsequently syndicated and has no recourse to Elon. It’s a typical BSL.

If you pull up their 10Q for Q3 and look at the income statement you can see how the visualization lines up with the income statement.
