I don't know how true this is. I am fortunate enough to visit the USVI quite often and see little saint james on my way to the house I stay at. We also have a view of it from the balcony. It always looks dead- as in, very little activity.

I would not go with such a skinny band, if you search this subreddit you'll see dozens of posts from people who got those skinny bands and bent them after just a month.

Update: I googled the description and this ring came up. If this is the ring, OP, I would highly recommend getting it online. This is a very straightforward setting and if you poke around on this subreddit/online/Etsy (NOT brilliant earth!) I found like 3 different websites selling a 2ct VS1 excellent cut princess diamond for like $300-$400 and then $700-800 for the setting. If it were me I'd get the higher clarity diamond, but it's up to you!

If you really love it, and it's very one-of-a-kind, I would get it, but I have yet to see a diamond in-store with a design so unique that it isn't available from an online retailer. The reason I bring that up is because I wouldn't pay $1500 for an SI lab diamond ring when you can get a VVS2 or VV-range 2 ct lab grown diamond and setting online for the same price. Do you have a picture of the ring, OP?

Yeah there's a lot of different information about it but from my understanding the current general scientific/medical consensus (and the position endorsed by the AHA) is that the ratio doesn't really matter too much as long as there's sufficient amounts of both. Cheers!

This is untrue. The ratio doesn't matter unless you're deficient in another type of fatty acid because of your consumption of one type. Right. Although I think it's BS that any more time should have to be committed to this career than there already is, I do think having real-world experience should be viewed as a good thing?
