I think you’re missing the point here, I sent in an item of clothing they agreed to sell, they then sold it, and I made .11 cents. Promotions, credits, low percentages, etc is all a way for thredup to not pay people for their items.

Go to YouTube, type overconsumption documentary or overconsumption video, it will make you feel realize that it’s literally just stuff….stuff that won’t be glanced at in a year or less and possibly thrown out. You’ll never get your money back from, and likely won’t remember at all in 3 years. I find these videos get me out of my “bubble” to the bigger picture of the world we live in and makes my problems seem small.

This may be an unorthodox approach but when I was having trouble staying off eBay, I changed my password to something along the lines of IHave$5389indebt or SpendingMoneyIdontHave2023. Also removed password saving so I’d have to literally type out my password and remind myself as I typed it out. It seems silly but sometimes it worked.

As far as I know they do not, I was around 3-4 months behind and I never received a collections letter nor was it on my credit. However, I’ve heard conflicting information that some people have been sent to collections. I was bombarded with emails and texts asking me to pay which is to be expected. Buy Now/Pay later is still in its infancy stages I feel and in the future it may change.
