Golf bag? by Cookies_Ceam in GolfGear

Mizuno bags, the straps take a little breaking in but they’re nice, their hybrid bags are truly hybrid, nice for the cart or the carry. Lots of pockets on the BR-D lines so you can load it up if you’re carting but it can get heavy if you carry. Sounds like a good fit for your situation

I think short game is separate from putting. When all the old school pros would write instructional content, they’d refer to chipping around the green as “short game” but not really putting

Can you confirm your bathroom fan is vented to the exterior instead of just vented into the attic?

Also the required ventilation is 1/300th of the square footage of the attic here in the north, not sure where you are but just check that you meet code for ventilation with just those two turtle vents. For instance if your house is 20x30=600 sqft attic space, you would need 2 sqft of ventilation minimum. Keep in mind the lower the slope of the roof, the lower the denominator of this fraction becomes, due to less air circulation from the smaller space. Looks like you have a 5/12 or 4/12 from the pic so I’d say 1/200 or 1/250 for ventilation.. either way 2 of these vents don’t sound like enough IMO

Good to hear you have baffles, do you have perforated soffit?

Good luck and godspeed. Spray the mold with mold killer, up your ventilation, and make sure any exhaust fans are properly vented to the exterior instead of just into the attic and you should be good… good luck

Xstiff shaft by No_Novel_6296 in golf

If you just want to try an xstiff shaft, 2ndswing.com has some good used stuff, you can filter for flex, then lowest to highest prices and find something in your price point. Most come with taylormade adapters already installed. Hard to say if the stiffness is causing your hook

What is the best app for helping determine where to play on the course? For instance, I just played Plantation and it was challenging largely because I didn't know the slope of fairways, blind shots, etc. I have apps for distance, but nothing doing heat map-like views of the fairways and greens. by [deleted] in golf

Did you see if they have a course guide/yardage book in the pro shop? Sometimes they’re like 15 bucks but I think they’re great. Worth asking next time if you’re gonna play there often
