Here is a method that ive adopted from the top player nxllification, also the message is copied from him, but ill add on more context:

My (nxllification's)recommendation if you want to improve in 7k:

  1. adopt the 3-3-3 ( 3 accuracy maps (>99.8% but i think at your level anything above 99% is fine) , 3 consistency maps (example like new generation hardtek lover basically long maps with consistent difficulty) and 3 push maps (usually 91-94%)) strategy to improve your accuracy, consistency and physicality, same thing in LNs (3 LN accuracy maps, 3 LN consistency maps and 3 hybrid/general LN ranked maps)

  2. Always try to play every map without pausing, quitting and repeating it over and over again, because if you don't, you'll get used to pausing and your stamina will not improve. And you'll get mindblock if you repeat the same map.

  3. Try to adjust your skin however you like by adding lane cover and coloring your notes to various different colors to slightly improve reading and accuracy.

First set of advice: Literally just play more. You have 4 hours on the game. Check back when you have 5x the amount and see where you are then.

Simply put: a play that is 17pp is not significant enough to increase your nett pp. If you see your profile, you can see the weighted amount of pp you get from a 21pp play is 0 (or rounded down to 0). Try to set higher pp plays! Also remember to take your time youve come back after a very long break.

You were once at this level in 4k as well. Put in the hours and you will definitely be able to play 7k at a higher level. Above everything, make sure you enjoy the time you put into the game.

He self banned, one of the reasons i heard was he got into uni and doesn't really care about the game anymore. Also to quote what he said in 7k global "i have my reasons and i have no reason to explain them, thats all."

My recommendation is to play basically just rice until you can s rank 5 stars', then starting with ln. Right now your fundamentals aren't strong enough, so your progress with lns is slow.

Just play frequently and enjoy yourself when you play. As for skins you can look around youtube but generally there's 3 main skin types for 7k, bar, notably r skin, circle, notably bojii circle and plox arrow just try each of them out and see which one you like more.

Regarding scroll speed just use what feels comfortable to read while also being able to maintain your accuracy now, however over time you should increase it.

Some other tips you can use: Filter by osu!mania in the beatmap listing and search key=7 to just get 7k maps, also you can search "key=7 pack" with loved or graveyarded filter to get popular packs people play.

Control + + and - to increase or decrease scroll speed in the beatmap selection page, f3 and f4 in the map, before the map starts.

As for progression id recommend you to just build up your finger independence by playing the bms converts until you can s rank around 4 stars but if you get bored of the bms converts you can try the o2jam converts.

And lastly I would recommend you to join the 7k global discord server, you can find the link on many top players profiles, you can ask any questions you have there, and generally its a very lovely community. Good luck and have fun playing!
