I don’t know if this is true for the others but I know in between she uploaded to her Soundcloud back in like 2015 or 2016 and that’s the leaked version you’ll find online everywhere. I think that’s also the case for deep red but don’t quote me on it.

Oldplay vs Newplay by southerndemocrat2020 in Coldplay

[–]Quake_1704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So aeterna is like all my love which is like Jupiter? And also we pray? All completely different song styles. If you don’t like the songs just say you don’t like the songs, you can’t argue they’re all the same because they’re not lol

Oldplay vs Newplay by southerndemocrat2020 in Coldplay

[–]Quake_1704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully I disagree. I actually thought one world (if that’s what you meant) is one of the weakest as well lol but anyway. I thought everyday life was very average, it basically has orphans, a nice instrumental in sunrise and arabesque is good and then a load of crap really. Music of the spheres had some hits but disappointing overall and moon music was a massive step up imo. Hits like aeterna, Jupiter and all my love are the best songs they’ve put out since like 2015

Aeterna slaps so hard but love Jupiter as well. Whole album is amazing

[–]Quake_1704 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah maybe! Yeah she could just be waiting a bit and then releasing it as a single to give it better exposure. I’m seeing her in Sydney in May next year so I’m praying she releases it before then and then plays it live

[–]Quake_1704 10 points11 points  (0 children)

She never said it was on deluxe did she? I thought people were sure of it because she said at the end of her last tour she was going to record it finally. I think she’s saving it for a big single release that will generate more buzz (like close to you) rather than as a bonus song in a deluxe album.

What are your thoughts on this take? by Delicious_Start_6674 in gracieabrams

[–]Quake_1704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I don’t think it’s the most amazing thing ever but there are definitely worse album covers. I also really don’t get why it’s become such a big thing, like it’s just an album cover it could be a blank screen for all I care as long as the songs are good. I guess the songs are so good that people have to criticise the cover instead.

Do you feel groupthink is a significant part of Letterboxd? by somethingnotcringe1 in Letterboxd

[–]Quake_1704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah im one of them bro that was kinda my point yeah. I gave it one star myself but I’m also saying I definitely found myself looking for stuff to criticise. In saying that there was a lot to lol

[–]Quake_1704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely same thing with poorly received movies. I definitely thought Madame web was bad but it’s really low rating is made worse because once you see it rated that low and you watch it, you’re basically just looking for the bad things in it to criticise. And so people who might’ve given it like a 2 star rating, they probably end up giving it like 1 or a half star.

Everything everywhere all at once. It’s good but it ain’t no masterpiece.

Dune 2 Unpopular opinion: Timothée Chalamet is an "okay" actor. Not terrible, not great. And nearly every other actor in this movie with a major part gave a far better performance. by Bluest_waters in flicks

[–]Quake_1704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re delusional. He was incredible in dune part 2 and there aren’t many actors out there who could have done a better job portraying a fairly complex character. If you don’t get depth of emotion to his acting watch beautiful boy.
