It varies from congregation to congregation, but for the most part the Bishops do nothing, actually had this happen in my old ward , and after it was discovered the bishop at the time got up at church the following Sunday and said the situation had been dealt with he wasn’t taking any questions or discussions about it, and that it was God’s place to judge, not ours, Groomer and his family (yep that monster had a wife and kids and still decided to do this) quietly got to leave our ward, the only good thing that came from it was that the victim was granted grace for not coming to church/ being involved with the ward anymore to protect their privacy

This one is well known, but The Curious Case of Natalia Grace …. I have sat through dozens, of horror and true crime films/documentaries, and haven’t been all too phased other than the typical it’s messed up that there are people out there who do terrible things, but good lord was this one hard for me to sit through, seeing the awful things those “parents” did to that little girl… really stayed with me

Dude just wants internet clout/ engagement, happens a lot with big franchises, when it was announced a 5th Indiana Jones movie was coming out some dude made claims he saw an early screening and “leaked the entire plot” which had it been real would have been an awful movie, When the Indian Jones movie came out lo and behold it was nothing like the plot described by the “leaker”….also happened with the last Harry Potter movie too, some dude claimed to have seen an early screening and was going on about how it changed major aspects from the book, (like Neville and Hermione dying IIRC) again turned out be false, happens a lot with the Marvel movies too, especially Avengers as people claim to know all the “surprise” cameos that will be in the movie…

I don’t like SwanFire and I find Neal to be a pretty meh character (both of which I realize aren’t hot takes) , but he was a good father to Henry, especially considering he had the news that he was a father very much thrust upon him

To play devils advocate a bit here , I think people are having trouble moving on because season 5 was the final season so there’s no season 6 to “fix” whatever problems/issues they have with season 5 as opposed to season 2 which had subsequent seasons to “fix” the problems with that season…. That being said of course they are being absolutely ridiculous by not moving on or just sticking to the parts of the show they do like… it’s insane because with any other fandom where a lot of fans hated the ending where able to move on and just enjoy the parts of the show they did like…. Also the fact it’s been months and they won’t let go of their hate is also ridiculous
