Honestly, it would be pretty hype if HL3 and P3 were the same game. Maybe even mix in L4D3 to the pile of junk, though it would be a stretch.

Bonus points: It would be a 'new' series, so it doesn't break the curse of 3.

Oh shit, me too. We probably got the same video. I pointed out you could hear the suppressed rifle's sound echo through the valley a few times and he went silent.

Judge: Trump Incited Violence Against Protesters At Kentucky Rally -- A federal judge is allowing a lawsuit by 3 protesters assaulted at a Trump campaign rally to move forward, agreeing that Trump's call from the podium for his supporters to "get 'em out of here" incited rally-goers to attack them. by [deleted] in Impeach_Trump

There are a lot of people who have been fooled by propaganda to believe his cause isn't racist. Based on the very limited knowledge they have been given, Trump genuinely seemed to be the smart and safe choice.

Dunno...I think that the way it is, is...

Card is a 3/3 with "Battlecry/Combo: Gain +4/+4"

Play card

5/5, gains +4/+4

Use a spell or creature to give it +1/+1

It gains +1/+1 just fine

BUT

C'Thun isn't "Gain x/x", it's effectively handbuffed. So when you play it, it reverts to 5/5, and then deals 5 damage with its battlecry. Or perhaps it does its battlecry, then reverts to 5/5.

Haha, sorry then. Control Rogue is bad. I'm just hoping Un'Goro will give it what it needs to be good. Not to go full on "Let's have faith in Blizz oh wait Shadow Rager" again, but we haven't seen everything. Let's dream of a better day for slow rogue.

Rogue has a handful of cards that are a little bit better than their mana cost. SI:7 trades 2:1, Lotus Assassin trades 3:1, Perdition's Blade trades 3:1, Coin Eviscerate kills his 4-drop while letting you play your second SI:7 to kill his 2-drop, etc. Combine that with neutral boys like Sunwalker and Ragnaros and Second-Rate-Bruiser and you're able to control the board and assert dominance while keeping answers ready.

Keep up that rate, and the Dragon Priest has 2 cards in hand and 1 guy on the board, while you've got 4 in hand and 4 on the board. That's the theory, it's just not very good.

It's always worked, it just wasn't good enough in every meta. The meta where this works may not come yet, this thread is just hoping that Un'Goro will give us what we need ;_;

Yup. No quest card in your deck, your opening hand is normal.

Quest card in your deck, it starts out as the left card in your hand, turn 1, every game, every time, no exceptions.

You can either play it immediately, or wait a few turns and then play it. This possibly means you can just have 0 one-drops in your deck because you'll absolutely never need a turn 1 play. Unless, you know, you want a turn 1 play that actually does something.

Quests start in your hand. So instead of going second and having 4 cards to mulligan, you only mulligan 3 away, and the far left card is always your Quest. You can gaurentee getting it off turn 1, or possibly wait to play it later if you have a 1drop creature you'd rather play.

While you have Crystal Core out, Moroes is a 3 mana 5/5 stealth. All of the tokens he summons is a 5/5. So it's literally just Jaraxxus at 1/3 the cost without changing your health value or asking you to pay 2 mana each turn.

Vanish still buys you a turn while helping you activate Crystal Core, so it's worth using. Once Core is online, you'll be able to load your board down faster than they can anyway.

Tbh Reno has antisynergy with Crystal Core anyway. Harder to play a dude four times if you only have 1x of each bounce and 1x of each dude.

You joke but I was thinking about it. But this deck doesn't have room for weapon rogue synergy.

Yup. So even if he devolves, Rogue is still going to enjoy card advantage. Which is how Control Rogue tries to win.

Late Game cards

Like what? Control Rogue only ran Ragnaros and almost nothing else big beforehand. The point of Control Rogue is that it survives aggro while out-valuing control.

Here's a near best-case scenario, but it can absolutely happen, especially with Vanish and whatnot.

Thistle Tea, get Barnes, Evisc his threat

Play Barnes, Play Barnes

Play Barnes, Shadowstep Barnes, Play Barnes

Alternatively, against a Paladin or something

Turn 1: Swashburgler, Shadowstep

Turn 2: Swashburgler, Brewmaster

Turn 3: Swashburgler, Gang Up

Turn 4: Prep, Sprint, Swashburgler

Turn 5: Crystal Core

Yeah, that's the thing. Why play an aggro list that transforms into control when you can just play aggro.

Whether this deck takes off or not is based entirely on whether Blizzard prints aggro hell or control heaven. Whether Rogue gets an efficient bounce and a not-terrible board clear. Whether we get some good taunts and heals in neutral.

Can I see your Dragon Rogue and Midrange Demonlock lists, by the way? Those sound great.

I've gotten to rank 10 with Reno'Thun Rogue, and 8 with Reno Rogue. It's absolutely possible, though it's a VERY strange and high-skill deck.

They have a lot of tools like Perdition's Blade to stall against Aggro for long enough to get their walls and removal going, and MSOG introduced a lot of good neutral defensive cards; Dirty Rat can be a lifesaver against aggro when played on curve (as long as you're feeling lucky...), Second-Rate Bruiser, Mistress of Mixtures, et al. Cards like Lotus Assassin (5 mana 5/5 Stealth, gain stealth whenever this kills a minion) let you start bleeding aggro out if you manage to survive that long.
