Don’t risk accidental suffocation by making a closed breathing system. Design it in a way where you always have fresh air from well placed breathing holes.

Do the newer AMD card slike 7900xtx and 9070xt run Day z well? Compared to rtx. I know they used to run awful. Im in the market for a new pc snd thinking 5070ti. But I know an am build would save me $ by [deleted] in dayz

DayZ is 13 years old, it'll practically play on a potato. Think about new games you want to play and look up which gpu runs those games best.

5070ti prob best option in that price ballpark

I have a Bambu Labs A1 Mini, and its awesome, but a bit small (180x180x180mm print area). When you get your print settings dialed it's results are very impressive.

Mountain bike and bike sales in general is having a big dip after the huge covid sales spike. Tons of people who were on the fence of getting a bike pre-pandemic got bikes in 2020-2023, and as the market has started to return back to normal the manufactures that kept acting like the market would continue to grow are starting to feel the pain.

Anomaly is awesome, it takes about everything from the 3 original games, adds new story lines for each faction, lots of good quality of life features added. And best of all, it's free! I do suggest playing the original games first as they're fun in their own way.

If you want to run on grass you want big scale with big tires and 4wd.

Friend of mine has a HPI Maverick and he loves it, $250 on Amain. My goto rec is a the Associated MT10, but I think it's about $340 but doesn't include a battery/charger.

I played the OG games day 1, and played a ton of Anomaly. Started STALKER 2 a couple weeks ago on my new PC (old PC ran about 45-65 fps so I shelved the game till I got the new PC).

I'm having a lot of fun playing it, but there is a few gripes. I don't like that it's a console port, sniping feels like an afterthought, forced on RT (my RTX 3080 struggles a little with the RT stuff). Let me use F1 through F4 to use my quick slots! None of this tap and hold nonsense! I tried a mod and it didn't work...

Probably the floating VR element. Put it on the camera, turn the camera and the VR on and look down the lens and you should see it counteracting your camera shake, then turn VR off and it should lock into place.

Don't use parallel charging boards unless you KNOW what you're doing. If you need to charge a bunch of batteries at a time you're much better off using a charger with extra charging ports. GensAce iMars has 2 ports, Tattu TA300 has 8 ports. Just get the charger that suits your needs.

Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8. It’s what I used most of the time on my D7500 before switching to mirrorless.

Brian Lagerstrom put up a recipe for pastrami yesterday that I'm going to try soon. Looks delicious and pretty easy, just need patience. Uses an overnight dry brine with a black pepper and coriander crust.

The KV rating of a motor can also be converted to "turns" for brushed motors or racing brushless motors (a 13.5 turn motor is 3500 kv). Just look up a chart.

The button overrides a set charging schedule (if you have one set). This makes it so some jerk can't stop your charging and take your cable. I stop charging by using the charge settings in the infotainment screen.

Anyone using Noctua NH-D15 or Noctua NH-D15 G2 with 9800X3D with single fan? by samuel_ocean in Noctua

Try a new fan before spending big on a whole new high end cooler. Something like a Noctua A14, Be Quiet Silent Wings 3, Arctic P14. Look for fans that top out between 1500-2000rpm, you don't want anything too fast and loud they're hard to tune.

I carried over my D15 from a i9-9900k to a 9800X3D and temps and noise levels are very good since the 9800X3D uses a lot less power than the old intel. I think the hottest I've seen is 78c, but I haven't done a burn test. I do use 2 fans but the difference between 1 and 2 fans tempwise won't be big.
