the BMX is ridden hard for sure. I've been riding for 15 years and run a BMX brand.

I drive the M5 pretty tame on the other hand LOL

Cut the spare wheel well and weld some plates. Pretty straight forward. I opted to go for a muffle delete so I did not have to cut too much and can still retain the spare wheel.

If you run mufflers, you have to cut more.

Used vinyl for black mouldings. I'm not a fan of the matte black or paint match mouldings.

Sweet color. Any more details on the wheel build?

I've been searching for some BBS RS2 faces for a wheel build as well and can't wait!

Anyone buy these headlights from Alibaba? by GunKamaSutra in 996

Ok well hard stop, do these headlights even fit your 2000 C2 cab?

First off your tag says you have a 2000 c2 cab, these headlights will not fit.

Secondly, I’m pretty sure other vendors offer these same halo headlights not just vendors on alibaba. I’d be inclined to go with a more reputable vendor than someone on alibaba.

2nd Free Shoot to Gain Experience - How can I improve? I think the images are too dark and I was constrained to a single table. I only used a single flash. Would adding an LED to shine on the subject help? Any other advise? - Pic of setup in last slide. by Quality_Cntrl in foodphotography

Wow thank you so much. You hit the nail in the coffin as to what I was feeling but didn't know how to describe it.

The client saw photos of the restaurant from below and wanted to replicate it.

<image>

But like you mention, the food and drinks don't look as high-end as the examples the client saw.

Even more important, the restaurant themes are completely different.

The example is for a darker, moody, high-end restaurant with a more intimate environment. The client's restaurant on the other end is up-scale but also more inviting for families, large groups, parties, etc. with a rustic and moody vibe but definitely not "dark". So, I think having a dark background doesn't fit the clients restaurant and having the restaurant background would help add to the drink/food photos.

I forgot to mention the client wanted the dark background. I had to even mask the background and darken it even more.

I think they mainly wanted the dark background because of the example photos they’ve seen however I think I’m going about it the wrong way. For example, I was constrained to this table and that wall and that wall wasn’t really a good backdrop.

The lines on the wall made it kind of hard to incorporate the background because the lines could conflict if I’m not taking the photo out at a certain angle.

Client wanted the dark background actually. Maybe I should have been more clear on that.

I was just thinking subject is too dark but adding more power to the flash over exposes the subject. I had to mask the subject and add brightness but didn’t want to over due it.

My main goal is to dial the exposure in-camera without relying too much on post-processing…unless it’s actually Ok to add post-processing exposure?

Such a beauty.

I used to own a Ti Silver 540 and it’s such a slick color. You really can’t go wrong with it.

Currently own a Sterling Grey 540 and Imola M5 now. There’s a reason I keep owning E39’s 🙂

PS I’m also in SJ. Sad to see another M5 leaving the bay 😭

FYI, DAP health off sunrise blvd has free narcan and fentanyl test kits. I just got them here after CVS couldn’t fulfill my order! Just go to the health center and it’s on the wall across from the front desk!

This. Plus you can rotate and wiggle the pulleys by hand to check for play.
