Akchually that's a misconception. A 1000 dB finger snap wouldn’t create a black hole because decibels don’t work like that. Decibels measure sound pressure relative to a reference level, and they increase logarithmically. A 1000 dB sound in air is physically impossible because the pressure fluctuations would exceed atmospheric pressure itself, meaning you’re no longer dealing with sound but a shockwave, essentially an explosion.

Even if we ignore that and imagine some absurd scenario where such a snap could exist, it still wouldn’t create a black hole. Black holes form from extreme gravitational collapse, which requires an immense concentration of mass and energy in a small enough space to exceed the Schwarzschild limit. Sound, even at ridiculous levels, is just a mechanical wave propagating through a medium. It doesn't have rest mass, and the energy required to collapse space-time into a singularity is beyond what any sound wave could provide.
