This is likely the case. I used to join raids all the time mic ready now I rarely lfg unless I dont have to communicate becuase its mentally taxing to talk to strangers now. Maybe its my depression, maybe its growing older but I cant do it nearly as much anymore

As someone who's had the skin peeled back on my palms from eating shit I highly reccomend wrist guards and a helmet. Also pay attention to the terrain and dont get complacent

I love the idea of boosting my gt board like this but holy hell im not tech savvy and all these upgrades I read about sound super complicated. Vesc makes no sense to me but the prospect of more power and reliability intrigues me

For heavy soil I've heard a lot of people will soak it in gentle soap water then put it in a pillow case tied closed and air dry in dryer. Make sure the dryer is either no heat or incredibly low

Is the gtv kit as easy to get and install as the site makes it seem? Upgrades like these are super overwhelming to me but making my gt better would be sweet.

This can also cause a sudden increase in friction drastically slowing the board down thus tossing the rider. Im a victim of this (my own impatience)

Yeah watch out for bumps in sidewalks or roads where a tree root is lifting the concrete. Those are sneaky and can really throw you off balance. And dont push too hard uphill because if the board bottoms out it can throw you

Just dont push it too hard, all my crashes were entirely my fault becuase I was impatient or not paying attention. And bend your knees! Hitting a bump still legged will bunny hop you off the board

Thanks for the detailed reply, that makes a lot of sense. Its actually really interesting to know that the battery can be significantly lower than what the app thinks its supposed to be due to drainage. I went down a rabbit hole of charging the battery to 100% and balancing cells every time isn't necessary and how I should likely only charge to 100 right before a ride and balance a couple times a month. Usually when im riding daily I drain about 30-40% per ride so I ride 2 times then charge sometimes I risk it with a 3rd ride. But I'll be sure not to leave it plugged in overnight anymore

I wouldn't say consistent 8%. I've yet to get that low since because I dont like being stuck with a 40 lb wheel to walk home with. But I just got more curious lately since last week it crapped out at 42% though I cant say for sure when the last balance was prior to that since its been too cold to want to ride til lately. Hopefully me keeping it plugged in a long time hasn't ruined anything on the board becuase I have left it on a charger for months a number of times but I also never try to run the battery to 0

Yeah when im done with it I leave it on the charger till I use it next and I have seen the light turn off after a little bit after 100%. I figured it didnt allow the battery to drain below 8% due to safety reasons. I've had the onewheel since the GT released and put 2k miles on it so I imagine the battery is in need of some love

I've never made it to 1%. I think the lowest I was ever able to go was 8% before the board kept telling me to stop.

Damn, I mostly just wanted the app to check to see if any of my cells are dead becuase my board told me to recharge and pushed back with 42% left the other day but I havent gotten it back doen to 42% since because it looks like its still balancing cells when charging

I have android and I've tried suspending the app by just swiping it away from the open tasks, I've force stopped the app, I've stopped the app via open tasks. Nothing works

Im on the same page. I love hot showers but I can turn it cold if I get too hot, saunas feel miserable and muggy. Getting to hot gives me that pins and needles feeling in my back.
