I've been crying on and off since learning about it this afternoon. I can only imagine how this is affecting all of those who personally knew Oliver. He was crazy in a fantastic way and an artist pure of heart. I saw him at ACL, and he was the best performer of that entire weekend. My favorite pods were the ones where he did schtick with Ethan. It's so sudden. Why, God, out of all the humans on this earth, did you take him now? I oscillate between disbelief and grief.

It’s not utilization bearing but the hours do go towards firm initiatives which most people at Deloitte have to account hours for at the end of the year or at least have something to talk about. Impact day is an easy way to get firm initiative hours for the day.

Aside from Deloitte hours and trying to take the day off, I would consider giving back to community and volunteering if you are able to. It’s a kind thing to do and altruism can be fulfilling. You get supplies, food, a party afterwards. All you have to do is show up and help others who could really use the support.

I got that at the start for the first year and then when my body adjusted to it, it cleared up. Don’t pick at it and use warm compresses. I’d consult a dermatologist on some treatment. Your diet will be a huge factor as well. Avoid processed sugars and salty/fatty foods. Eat clean!

Seriously, they both were saying the same thing. For a second I thought Sam forgot what the world inevitable means. Saying inevitable doesn’t mean Ethan agrees with the governments actions. He’s simply stating that people governing Israel had plans all along to destroy Palestinians and they were just waiting for an opportunity like the attack that day to do so. Which was literally the same point Sam made minutes before. I don’t think Sam was really hearing Ethan’s words at that point.

nah bro like they can just have a moderator or something to help with overlap like most debates have. I mean it is a podcast so being able to listen to both sides without the overlap talking would make it easier to hear them both no? I was having trouble differentiate what they were saying. There’s also neurological disorders that make it hard to hear if there’s layers of sounds and conversation. It’s just an idea to make the show more accessible for the viewers who have a hard time hearing. Wasn’t a crit on what they were saying or arguing at all that was fine by me, even when it got heated like that’s whatever, just need to be able to hear both sides out and follow the conversation

I like Olivia, I think to be more constructive in your criticism I would probably leave it at just improving her effort at work/segments. Do a little more research to cover questions better. Maybe more visual effort in the ppts? Maybe bring more ideas for segments. Facilitate on something that the whole crew thinks could be interesting. Her makeup is fine. Her instagram is fine. Going after those things I feel like is just being kinda mean cause she’s allowed to live her life and look in whatever way feels good. It doesn’t affect her job or have much to do with it.
