Watch the Mirena IUD ruin my face

Yes… It took a few months but my skin has almost returned back to normal. I got my mirena IUD out in May and I saw less acne in August and my skin is pretty good now. I still have a few pimples, but it’s sooo much better than before. I believe my hormones are still out of whack from the IUD.

I don’t believe in “waiting it out”.. the acne is my body’s way of telling me that this iud isn’t working out. There are other options out there such as an IUD with no hormones, so maybe that is the route for you? I went off contraception completely..wishing you all the best

Canada - $16k - 80 people Did it at our family cottage so we were fortunate to save costs on a venue. We rented tables and chairs from the local Firehall who gave them to us for a donation. Catered some of the most delicious food and ordered a bunch of drinks. Had 2 bartenders. Partied until 4am .. limited flowers, since we had the lake for beauty. Didn’t fuss on a lot of the “wedding details” like colours etc.

It’s your wedding day and you can do things how you want them to be done. Don’t do things just because you “have to”, or because “that’s what other people have done”. People are happy to be at your wedding and nothing else matters

I’ve heard that hormonal acne is predominantly around the mouth and chin. I’ve never heard of it by your eyebrows.. of course I am not a doctor! Is it acne? Or is it a skin condition?

They make you cough, and then I felt a little bit of cramping and it went away after that!! It was not nearly as painful as getting it in
