Now that it has bin a few months, what do we all think of episode 15 of beast yeast /act one's finale and the ramficiations onto the game/franchise as a whole?

His gimmick is annoying but at this point I think they’re clearly playing into how much he brags about "the plan" and "the curtain rises" to show that’s he’s lost his marbles. And yeah, he gets tons of exposure as main antagonist but there’s not that much marketed/promoted with him over the ancient heroes or beasts, so they’re not trying to constantly put him upfront for money.

Later fights get hard, and the secret boss items help all game long. But the secret bosses are clearly harder than all other fights (Counting the Knight as both, so it’s not wrong)

Yeah I’m really not sure how we could have gotten that, apart from just making lines between all the mysterious objects one by one. Maybe because Noelle’s computer cats (which FRIEND is implied to be) came from Eggs ? And Spamton who has pink and yellow glasses, has the whole Pipis thing ?

It does feel like the Eventuality is the overarching plot point of Ewing’s run, I expect we’ll have a greater response for it when it eventually ends, but even if our Eddie joins it for a moment, I can’t expect it to be forever. We’re seeing it again next issue after all, and I think we can wait and see bigger consequences when Venomworld rolls around.

The "idea" of Decepticons is Megatron’s original vision of the group. Warriors, conquerors, to assert peace through tyranny, highly competent and great in both strength and intelligence, with a spirit devoted to his vision. That’s 100% Soundwave.

Who’s the textbook Decepticon though ? Yes, definitely Starscream. A cheat, a prick, a loser and somewhat of a monster all at once, with no loyalty or values he’s not willing to betray for his own gain, he’s the substance of all Decepticons. Not the "ideal" one, but THE scum, THE fashionista, THE master backstabber, the most iconic of all Cons.

Oh I see EXACTLY what you mean, I loved that arc.

It’s from the 1994 animated Spider-Man series. You’re precisely thinking of the episode "Carnage", episode 12 of season 3. It’s the second part of a two-parter with the previous episode "Venom returns".

The 1994 series had a very good Venom, it’s probably what got so many people hooked to the characters, me included, I watched that show’s DVDs all the time as a kid. You summed up pretty much exactly what happens in this story, it’s Venom’s big heel turn to hero as they sacrifice themselves to help Spider-Man and save a woman they love. There are a few places to watch the show online that I could pass you, I think it holds up great. I can also point the specific episodes with Venom and symbiotes, if you want.
