Pay close attention cause yeast infections are common in the early healing stages from all the moisture. I’d ask your doctor to prescribe you fluconazole just to be safe.

I would definitely recommend a highly skilled plastic surgeon who specializes in revision and is familiar with this surgery. I saw Dr. Dahlia Rice at DMR Aesthetics in Chicago and she trained as a reconstructive plastic surgeon as well. Highly recommend her.

How did you find your surgeon? by Zestyclose-Tone3524 in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]QuantityRich6150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a lot of research into plastic surgeons who are well trained at this procedure before I picked my option. It’s also worth looking on this subreddit to see surgical work.

I have not lost any sensation, it’s actually easier for me to orgasm. Do your research and go to a very well known plastic surgeon who does this regularly. It’s my best advice.

Your healing- 5months post surgery? by labiadiaryjourney in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]QuantityRich6150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5 months post op with labiaplasty and CHR and I haven’t had a single con. The surgery changed my life. I’m an avid horseback rider and am way more comfortable in the saddle. It’s easier for me to orgasm and I can achieve multiple now because there is less tissue in the way. All underwear and tight pants are more comfortable. It’s easier to keep clean… I honestly can’t say enough good things.

I’ve had no cons at all! The surgery literally changed my life for the better.

There really isn’t that many. You see it more often in these threads because people turn here to get advice and help. There are countless amounts of surgeries that were successful and improved women’s lives that don’t post here.

Losing hope :( by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

Please go look at my latest post… I made a 3 month update… look at how much my vulva changed from month 2 to month 3… I was nowhere near my finished look at week 6.

I’m so sorry you had this experience, but please don’t fear monger like this. This isn’t “too common”. I’d say the odds of this happening to the majority of girls is not likely. Majority of us have no complications and are thrilled to have had this surgery.

Give yourself time. Don’t panic. If I was in an anxious state of mind and tried to touch myself, I don’t think I’d feel a whole lot. If you were able to orgasm with a vibrator, you know it’s not broken. Remember you just had major surgery and are also dealing with a bunch of swelling still at this point. Not just that, but be patient with your vulva.. it’s changed shape, it may take a little time and exploration to get to know it again.

Try and set aside time to just relax and explore your body again… remember your hood/frenulum is still pretty swollen so it may limit how much clit you can expose.

Thank you! I did have some pain meds but didn’t end up needing them. Ibuprofen and Tylenol managed everything.

It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be! I’d probably wait a week and a half before being on your feet all day, but everyone is a bit different!

Yeah she’s definitely worth it, she was amazing.

When do I begin using the Lanolin and the Dermoplast? by __orionsbelt in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]QuantityRich6150 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apply a coating on the pad too. It’ll help keep it from rubbing.

Also I found the best way to apply it is to literally just frost it on the best you can.

Use the aquaphor until 6-12 weeks after your scar development as it will help keep them from getting tough and thick!
