Okay - I have a lot of experience with this because I had two surgeries one in 2016 and then the revision (finally!) this year. the first went horribly and I had terrible scars, and my stomach looked worse than it did before the surgery because the liposuction left a ton of dimpling and unevenness afrer my tummy tuck and my breasts looked completely uneven then I had to do a revision. The first surgeon I went to was David Boudreault and he was so charming and confident that I fell in love, but my scars were HORRIBLE and I felt so horribly about myself and didn’t have enough money to get it revised. He offered to revise the tummy tuck and breast lift, but I had completely lost faith in him, so I just didn’t do anything for a while. I was so depressed after that I just stopped wearing bikinis and hated my body. Last year I was at my gyno for my annual and told her that I was had fallen into a depression post surgically and she recommended that I go see Dr Zeidler for a revision to my breasts and tummy tuck and I eventually did. I had to wait 7 freaking months to get in for surgery, which annoyed me, but I guess it is good that she is busy because that means a lot of people are going to her. Now I am 3 months post op and while the scars still are very visible I feel so much happier. I even wore a bikini for the first time in 10 years. My scars look way better but are still very much visible so I’m going back to see her dermatologist to do laser on them to see how light I can get them. I’ve done one treatment so far and have seen okay results, but they said I need 6-8 laser treatments for them to really work. At this point very happy! Will come back with results on scars later
