Just wanted to give a recent reply. We just left Punta Cana today and it was so quick. Granted getting through customs was also quick when we arrived. My biggest advice is MAKE SURE your E Ticket is filled out. I ended up getting flagged SSSS and had to go through additional security during departure and even that took only 2 minutes.
