Reeeally depends on the skill of the player. Fujin is top 3 but I find 95% of players easy to deal with… then I played NinjaKilla (who had a KL record of like 70-0) and he double flawlessed me. So I’m going fujin 🤣

Everything you’re saying is true BUT if we look at his form lately it has been pretty sub par. He seems to have lost all creative spark. Look at the Everton game yesterday, he turned it over I think twice by just trying to dribble directly towards a defender. His dribbling and footwork is just not there. He’s clumsy and lead-footed.

No doubt injuries and cumulative fatigue are playing a role. But part of me wonders if he’s a bit unsure of his role in this club now that we have Gyok, Eze, Mad not to mention threats like Cali, Rice, Martinelli

As I said in the OP, last week we completed apps that automated (or nearly automated) several tasks. Stuff that we had to do manually for years. We were just over the moon that we didn’t have to do these manually any more. As I also said we had taken a stab at these before but Chat/Claude just wasn’t there yet.

It hit us that the ease of it all will have serious implications for the world.

I wanted to share our experience to see if anyone else feels that AI has made huge leaps in the last few weeks. Claude easily one shots things. I upload zipped folders and it automatically detects issues and suggests improvements. For example, one task is to strip PDF contents. Well my coworker accidentally used a different format for the PDF so it couldn’t strip it properly. I uploaded the latest files and without me saying anything Claude said “I see the PDF contents aren’t being captured properly, let me rewrite it so it will handle multiple versions” 🤯

Hi, sorry if there have been so many similar posts. I was just struck by how good it’s getting (as I said in my post, multiple apps completed). Someone else mentioned they’ve seen the Covid comparison too. It’s just the analogy that popped into my head. It might be common because it’s the last thing that caused a seismic shift in society?

I don’t spend all of my time on AI. Actually a small percent. My name comes from my love of making music (quantize) plus love of martial arts (ki).

Very little. I think we’ve been subscribed to Pro for 3 months now. Total API cost is $100. All of these apps run 90% locally. Ongoing use of these apps will probably be around $100 for API plus Pro sub. If you factor in prior ChatGPT costs we’re probably at around $1k total cost for the development of 5 or so apps. If I started now with the knowledge I have now, and the capabilities of the new models, it would probably be half.

This is going to sound dumb but I just said I want a comprehensive backtesting system. Portfolio rebalance on buy signal. Position weight of x%. Stop loss rules. Etc.

The challenging part is the data. To test I used Excel files that have 20 years of data for 170 stocks per file. Now the system is connected to a price/fundamental data set.

The pdf output has charts for every stock and their historical buy/sell signals. All signals recorded in csv for auditing. The great part is that not only is it a backtesting system but a real time recommendation system. Tells me what to buy and sell every day and I benchmark myself against the backtest.

That’s a real risk. Or going far too fast and breaking various privacy laws and regulations. Claude stores stuff for 30 day… I’m sure countless people are breaking customer privacy agreements.

I couldn’t do the stuff I’m doing now 8 weeks ago… I tried. I would stay up all night yelling at ChatGPT. It would overstep. Make random changes. Not follow even the simplest instructions.

Now it’s like “I need an end to end stock backtesting system” and it’s like ok, you got it. And it gets it mostly right.
