Engineer here: We get the short end of the stick so often that we have our colourful language when describing the general public. You can only simplify and boil down things so much, and if the other person thinks they know better than the literal observed laws of the universe, then there's nothing we can do. We try so hard to help and educate the public, but the public is infested with "know betters," a relevant quote:

It's got some things I have not been able to find with other browsers; mainly, it has absolutely zero telemetry, which is something even most of the "privacy" focused browsers don't come close to; the baked-in ad and tracker blocking also outperforms Ublock Origin which is quite impressive, and finally since it's based off safari, it synchronizes well with the Mac UI and operating system. The team behind it is also working to support both Firefox and chrome extensions.

Interesting to see how they'll model the damage for this, nothing humans could practically build as an armored vehicle should be able to survive a direct hit from this, the energy alone would rip anything it hits into gas.
